<p class="p1">GYBC hosted their national camp for middle school girls over the weekend.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Here are some of the standouts from Georgia.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Laylah Simpson</b> (2026) took the ball coast to coast on a solo fast break battling through contact after grabbing the rebound herself. She had some nice moves beyond the perimeter allowing her to get inside to score some points.</p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Lydia-Ledford-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788605.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-398161 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Lydia-Ledford-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788605-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="476504" first="Lydia" last="Ledford"]</b> (2026) was consistently finding herself on the free throw line.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She runs the floor well breaking away from her opponents on fast breaks.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her height and ball skills make her a versatile athlete on the floor.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Chloe Pendley</b> (2026) was a great facilitator finding her open teammates under the basket with ease.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She cut well without the ball to get a pass and bucket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She knew exactly where to go to grab steals anticipating passes on the other end.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Grace Landeck</b> (2026) did a nice job flashing from block to block to get open,<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Grace-Landeck-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788662.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-398163 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Grace-Landeck-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788662-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a> and she knew exactly how to turn herself towards the basket to score some points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She stayed ready to shoot even off of offensive rebounds.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Finley Parker</b> (2027, featured photo) showed off her range shooting, and she was constantly moving around the perimeter finding the openings.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her length came in handy closing out on her opponents and blocking shots.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was playing all over the court grabbing rebounds, flashing in the paint, and setting herself up around the perimeter.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She had a nice crossover move to get around her opponent and make the jump shot from the elbow.</p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Nakhai-Worthey-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788735.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-398165 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Nakhai-Worthey-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788735-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>Nakhai Worthy</b> (2027) has a nice stutter move she uses to throw off her defender and get to the hoop.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She also uses a nice jump stop to show off her jumper, and she can even get a foul and the bucket by throwing off her defenders.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She showed off her range shooting from deep as well.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Jasmine James</b> (2027) grabbed an offensive rebound and used a power dribble<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Jasmine-Jones-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788803.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-398167 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Jasmine-Jones-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646788803-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a> to score the second chance opportunity.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was great at facilitating ball movement, and she showed patience when waiting for the lanes to open up and show off her drives to the basket.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Aliya Dewitt</b> (2028) was quick handling the ball up the court finding her open teammates cutting to the basket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She hustled after loose balls and made some saves to her teammates leading to more points.</p>
