Walker Demers Walker Demers 6'3" | C Grafton | 2023 ND – Grafton – (6’3/PF/2023) – Demers showed she was going to be a problem for the Langdon Cardinals on the boards early. Walker immediately snagged six rebounds in the first three minutes. Demers also showed she wasn’t letting anything easy into her paint and shut down Langdon’s drives to the hoop blocking and disrupting shots. Demers was a monster in the paint on both ends of the court and put on a show of raw skill and strength. When it was all said and done she finished with 22 points and 21 rebounds as the Spoilers blew by the Cardinals for a 51-31 victory.
Abby Duchscherer Abby Duchscherer 6'1" | CG Kindred | 2022 State ND – Kindred – (6’1/SG/2022) – Duchscherer did what she does best and that’s get buckets!! From the jump ball, Abby was too much to handle. She displayed such great court awareness and versatility on the court freeing up her teammates and playing just as a captain should in hustling for every loose ball. Abby put on a clinic against Shiloh and was a defensive monster shutting down Grace Kelly Grace Kelly 6'1" | SF Shiloh Christian | 2022 State ND and Hailey Quam Hailey Quam 5'11" | SF Shiloh Christian | 2023 State ND frustrating the Skyhawks into foul trouble. Abby finished the game with 22pts. 18rbs. 7stls guiding the Vikings to a 68-49 victory.
Hailey Quam Hailey Quam 5'11" | SF Shiloh Christian | 2023 State ND – Shiloh Christian – (5’11/PF/2023) – Quam struggled in the second game of the state tournament against the Vikings from Kindred. Hailey got into early foul trouble, but showed a great display of poise on the court non the less. Her big size and frame proved to be too much for the Vikings at times in which led to double teams in the post. Quam wasn’t hitting mid-range shots like she could and ultimately cost the Skyhawks. Hailey finished the game with 12 points and nine rebounds before fouling out.
Jaycee Richter Jaycee Richter 5'6" | PG Linton/HMB | 2022 State ND – Linton HMB – (5’6/SG/2022) – Jaycee had a big game against Beulah and proved to come in clutch during the late seconds of the fourth quarter hitting some crucial free-throws to propel the Lions to a 48-46 win. Jaycee put on a clinic from beyond the arc and got hot quickly. She’s such a versatile player being so crafty when in the pick and roll. She distributes the ball so well to her teammates finding them when open while attacking the rim for a quick pass out. Richter was impressive defensively keeping her man in-front of her and filling passing lanes for easy steals. Richter finished with a game high 24 points.
Terryn Johnson Terryn Johnson 6'1" | C Kindred | 2022 State ND – Kindred – (6’1/C/2022) – Terryn was a big part of Kindreds win over Shiloh Christian. She rarely made mistakes in this game and some could say played perfect defense when guarding Hailey Quam Hailey Quam 5'11" | SF Shiloh Christian | 2023 State ND and Grace Kelly Grace Kelly 6'1" | SF Shiloh Christian | 2022 State ND at times. She got Quam into early foul trouble using her long athletic frame and strength to draw fouls underneath the basket. Defensively she frustrated the duo holding both for only 24 points. Johnson finished the game with 14 points 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.
