Expert Analysis

Scheeler got recognized for her awesome season with a spot on the First-Team All-State team. This is an elite group to be a part of and Annabel deserves to be amongst the state’s best. Her impressive gameplay helped get the Titans to a state-qualifying game where they came up just short to a hot Rugby team. She made a blistering 93 three-pointers on the season at a 41% clip. This is an incredible feat and one of the most made threes in a season in state history. I am impressed with Annabel’s effort on both sides of the floor, her decision making with the ball, her change of speed, and her desire to continue playing. She finished her senior season averaging 23.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.

Scheeler has been on a tear this season and has lead the Dickinson Trinity Titans to a respectable 4-3 record. She has been scoring the rock on a different level than previous years. She has multiple games of 30 or more points and is clearly the number one option for her squad. She recently committed to play at Dickinson State and they are getting one quality player. She is well on her way to an All-State selection in 2025-2026.

Scheeler is gearing up for a great senior season. The All-Region guard had a great offseason and picked up a handful of college offers. She recently went to Umary for a visit and has received offers from Dickinson State, NDSCS, and Dakota State at Bottineau. She is a really talented player and plays with a noticeable passion and joy on the floor. She is well coached and looks to be a proven leader. I have enjoyed watching her journey and look forward to her senior season.

Annabel just received an offer to play college basketball at Bottineau. The question I have is what has taken schools so long to notice the talented guard out of Dickinson Trinity? She is another great player who would thrive at North Dakota junior colleges and NAIA schools. She has a sweet shooting stroke and is an excellent ball-handler. She has the work ethic to earn a big-time role at the next level.

Annabel is an excellent guard and someone I think can play at the next level. She is her team’s quarterback and best player. If I coached in Region 4, I would Box-and-chase Anabel. This is one of the best compliments I can give to a player. I don’t know if Trinity could score if Annabel was taken out of the game. She handles the ball and makes great decisions with her passes, which lead to scoring opportunities for her team. She is an outstanding shooter and really good at pulling up off of the ball-screen. I am excited to see Annabel in person this summer.

Annabel is a talented guard for Dickinson Trinity and someone I really enjoy watching. She moves extremely well on the court and has a beautiful looking shot. She is really good at using ball screens to create three-point scoring opportunities for herself. She is able to recognize when to drive and dish on those screen and roll plays as well. She does a nice job of cutting in the half-court and is a solid defender. Annabel is one of the best players in Class A and will have an excellent shot at returning to the All-State team this season as a junior.
