There were buzzer beaters and close games. There were also a few players that stood out for their teams. Here are the players that stood out the most on the weekend for the 15U division.
Kimora Hester I 5’6 I SG I 2026 I Q4 Elite 2025
Hester is a player that works hard on both ends of the floor. The energizer bunny that gets her team going. A lefty guard that showed her ability to slash through the defense and finish at the rim with her ability to elevate over her defenders. A guard that also puts a lot of ball pressure on her defenders.
Ashley Martinez Ashley Martinez 5'4" | SG Somerset Silver Palms Academy | 2026 State FL I 5’4 I SG I 2026 I Miami Impact 2025
Martinez is a sharpshooter that demands respect from her defenders. Always moving without the basketball and finding the open spots in transition. A player that has a quick release and can shoot off the dribble. Martinez showed her ability to score at all 3 levels. Had a game with 22 points and 6-8 from behind the arc. A player that has a high IQ and high motor.
Mikayla Pittman I 5’2 I PG I 2025 I Nona Basketball Academy 2025
Pittman showed her ability to score at will and against some tough defenders on the weekend. A player that has so many ways to score and defend. Great ballhandling ability which allowed her to avoid being trapped in the press. A player that sees the floor well and is always moving without the basketball. Always wants the basketball in her hand and it seems like she makes magic happen all the time. Floor general that controls the pace on offense and defense.
Victoria Valle Victoria Valle 5'7" | PG Doral Academy | 2027 State FL I 5’4 I SG I 2027 I Miami Impact 2025
Valle is a shooter that always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Has the ability to shoot the step back 3 ball and also get in the lane and finish with the floater. High IQ guard that sees the floor well and knows how to get her teammates involved. The thing that stands out most about her is her ability to guard 94 ft and pressure her opponents into turnovers.
Ava Jones I 6’1 I C I 2026 I Miami Impact 2025
Jones showed her ability to be the complete post player. Always looking for ways to score around the basket. Had a couple of nice drop step finishes at the rim. A rebounding machine that keeps the ball high so she can outlet to her teammates. Knows how to finish at the rim and can knock down free throws.
Victoria Rodriguez Victoria Rodriguez 5'4" | SG Hagerty | 2025 State FL I 5’4 I 2025 I Nona Basketball Academy 2025
High Motor guard that gets things going. A player that plays both ends of the floor and knows how to pressure up on her opponents. Has the ability to score at will and at all 3 levels. When the defense took away her driving lanes, she found ways to shoot the 3 ball and the pull up jump shot. Great ball handling skills.
