Johnston has put together a wonderful, well-rounded rounded career at Summitt. The NGU committ has been a steady 14 point per game with nice rebounding and defensive instincts. This week she surpassed the 1,000 point mark for her career, and what a great milestone for Johnston.
Sometimes one of the highest praises you can give a player (or person for that matter), is consistency….Johnston has been the epitome of that.

Johnston also had three 3-pointers and added 14 points last Wednesday. She also had 12 points in the 48-38 loss to Columbia last Tuesday.

Johnson (Summitt HS) recently ended her recruitment with a commitment North Greenville. Really athletic player who can straight shoot it. Geared for a big time year, as she’ll be given the ball for 32 minutes and told “go ball.” She’ll be the primary scorer and decision maker and meshes it perfectly with high level athleticism. She’s a ton of fun to watch.
