Last Saturday, I was invited to the NYG Super 64 Camp run by Joe Fenelon in Springfield, Massachusetts. Many Northeast prospects participated in this event that featured drills, 1v1, and 5v5 competitions. Below are the 4 prospects who impressed me the most.

[player_tooltip player_id="299221" first="Nia" last="Edens"]| CT Starters| 5’9’’| SG| ’24
Edens won the 1v1 competition by beating the majority of players in the camp in an isolation setting. She uses her body well when attacking her defender and has excellent footwork when she gets close to the basket. Edens finished everything no matter how much her opponent was draped over her and played through contact well. No matter what scenario Edens was put in, she found a way to score. Whether she was going downhill or starting the possession from the high or low post, Edens had various moves to beat the defense.
[player_tooltip player_id="422814" first="Kelli" last="Cieplicki"] | Lone Wolf| 5’9’’| SG| ’24

Cieplicki’s hard and timely face cuts to the basket stood out to me initially. She was constantly moving and knew how to get open. She also had the most unguardable move of any athlete at the camp. Cieplicki’s behind-the-back dribble into a step-through layup was impossible to stop, no matter how predictable the move was. She is stealthy and tactical with her approach and sells fakes well; therefore, Cieplicki could create enough space to execute consistently.

[player_tooltip player_id="422813" first="Nalyce" last="Dudley"] | CBC| 6’1’’| PF

Dudley was an absolute beast and could not be stopped. The lefty big was active on defense and dominated the boards. On offense, Dudley can step outside and hit threes but embraces battling in the paint and terrorizing opposing forwards on the block. Dudley’s motor was the best out of the competition. She plays hard, is physical, and runs the floor full speed every possession. She never stopped outworking her opponent, resulting in Dudley being one of the most impressive players of the day.

[player_tooltip player_id="422812" first="Skyler" last="Burke"] | Exodus| 5’9’’| PG| ’26
[caption id="attachment_423743" align="alignnone" width="300"] Photo: Pics By Reardon[/caption]
Based on Burke’s physical profile alone, I couldn’t believe she was not in high school yet. She possesses the height and athleticism at the point guard position, making her a nightmare matchup. Burke’s greatest strength is her three-point shooting, and she shot the lights out last Saturday. I like how Burke can knock jumpers down off the dribble and is comfortable playing off guard, filling in the catch-and-shoot role. Burke’s confidence was through the roof, and she was not afraid to pull from anywhere, including deep transition perimeter shots that ripped the net clean. Burke’s ceiling is extremely high, and her size and elite shooting ability should be enough to keep her on your radar.
