Run4Roses 2022 Recap: Top Performers Pt.6

Bryce Smith-[program_tooltip program_id='712363' first='740' last='Thunder'] 2024/25 [program_tooltip program_id='712363' first='740' last='Thunder'] 2024/25 went 4-1 at Run 4 the Roses they went up against some really tough teams in the Platinum Bracket. Bryce Smith really stood out to me I really like the high [player_tooltip player_id='886739' first='Level' last=''] of energy she plays with. Against Illinois Evolution Navy she really came to play she brought the physicality on defense banging with the big's down low and playing tight on-ball defense on the perimeter. Smith has great upside you should definitely put her on your radar. Deborah Hardbarger-[program_tooltip program_id='712363' first='740' last='Thunder'] 2023 [program_tooltip program_id='712363' first='740' last='Thunder'] 2023 had a red hot 4-0 start at Run 4 the Roses. Deborah Hardbarger had a great showing at the Roses she has good length, size, and athleticism. Against State Line Legacy Parman she really made an impact. Hardbarger played aggressively on the defensive end she did a great job denying the post entry pass. On offense, she hit the boards hard and collected a lot of offensive rebounds that resulted in free throw opportunities. Natalie Daughtery-DFS Fusetti 2024 Natalie Daughtery played exceptional at the Run 4 the Roses. She played tenacious defense against every team that was scheduled to play DFS. I was very impressed with her effort she slid her feet well and kept the ball handler in front her without reaching and fouling. As I mentioned before in my Top AAAA Sleeper Prospects Class of 2024 Daughtery is more known for her dynamic scoring ability but at the Roses she showed that she is indeed a 3 and D type of prospect. [player_tooltip player_id="405331" first="Maya" last="Lawrie"]-Next [player_tooltip player_id='886739' first='Level' last=''] E40 2025 [player_tooltip player_id="405331" first="Maya" last="Lawrie"] showed up and showed out she put her talent and abilities on full display at Run 4 the Roses. Even under the bright lights and playing on the largest stage in front over a thousand college coaches and recruiters she was unfazed. Lawrie went off against the Tennessee Trotters putting up 19 points with 10 rebounds. There's not too many prospects that can put up a 20 and 10 double-double against elite competition like she did. [player_tooltip player_id='254283' first='Claire' last='Roberts']-[program_tooltip program_id='714288' first='Bluegrass' last='Girls Basketball'] 2025 There are certain prospects that just have the build to be a basketball player. [player_tooltip player_id="254283" first="Claire" last="Roberts"] is a prime example of that, she's a wing player with great length, skills, and a shooting form that is poetry in motion. Roberts is a very fundamentally sound player with good mechanics she really has enormous potential. Against UTS Lady Elite Gold she erupted for 17 points and racked up 7 rebounds. On the biggest AAU stage Roberts proved that she is open to any [player_tooltip player_id='886739' first='Level' last=''] of competition and that she can hoop with the best of them. Lyla Packer-[program_tooltip program_id='712592' first='Kentucky' last='Premier'] 2027 Lyla Packer has scary good potential she's already listed at 6'1 and she hasn't even entered high school yet. When I approached the assigned court to watch KY Premier play against PAC Flight North I noticed her right away. Packer has a finesse to her game she moves well for her size and she is super skilled. Her footwork in the post is picture perfect she knows her moves and she uses them well. Packer can also step out and hit jump shots from the perimeter which makes her a tough task for any defender.
