Simone Pelish Simone Pelish 5'11" | CG Our Lady of Lourdes | 2024 State NY |Exodus EYBL|5’11”|CG
Pelish’s stock is trending up quickly after July. I saw Pelish first play over the spring but was really impressed with her performance in July playing on the 17u Exodus EYBL team. She has good size and plays a physical brand of basketball that is conducive to that level of play. On the biggest stage, Pelish didn’t shy away from the moment and gave Exodus valuable minutes. Her footwork around the basket is my favorite part of her game. She is a crafty scorer who finishes through contact and is good at creating space to get her shot off.

Shy Hawkins Shy Hawkins 6'2" | SF William Floyd | 2024 State NY | Exodus EYBL|6’1”|SF
Hawkins athleticism allows her to be a force on defense and on the glass. Not many can jump with Hawkins, and she skies in for rebounds and can clean up both sides of the boards. The amount of second-chance putbacks Hawkins racks up increases her value. She also has a solid face up game, rips through aggressively off the catch, and can get to the rim in a flash and score.

Marisa Smith|NY Royals|6’3”|PF
When I first saw Smith at the East Coast Summer Showcase in early July, I liked her paint mobility on defense. She patrols and anchors that area well and denies clean looks at the rim. Smith has good defensive awareness and always puts herself in prime position to make a stop. With her touch and size on the block, you have to love her ceiling as a game changing two-way big. Smith comfortably steps out and hits mid-long range jumpers, and basket runs hard resulting in easy layups in transition.

Lauren Patnode Lauren Patnode 6'0" | PF Perkiomen | 2024 State NY |Elevate NYBC|6’0”|PF
I like Patnode’s confidence and playmaking in transition. She will pull down a rebound, start the break and has the vision and unselfishness to assist a teammate or will score herself. Defenses have trouble keeping Patnode away from the basket due to her strength, and she is an excellent finisher with either hand. I like the idea of running your offense through Patnode because she isn’t a black hole when receiving the ball. She sees the floor well in the halfcourt and locates the open teammate when the defense is drawn off her drives.

Jordyn N. Williams Jordyn N. Williams 6'0" | SF Cardinal O’Hara | 2024 State NY | XGEN Elite |6’0”|SF
Williams athleticism is off the charts, and she can be a big difference maker on both sides of the ball. She sprints to spots and is a ball hawk who uses her speed and anticipation to disrupt passing lanes. On offense, Williams is an aggressive slasher whose length and long strides help her push past the defender, get into the paint and finish over rim protecting bigs. Williams is also a reliable shooter who is catch ready and can hit on a consistent basis.
