Kyle Sandy | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Ferguson has the ability to dominate games with her size inside, a steady shot blocker. What gives her upside is her soft shooting touch from the perimeter, able to hit the trail three. Anaya had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block against North Paulding.

Up from No. 38: Rim protector has a soft touch offensively. Knocks down free throws and has show improved range on her jump shot, able to occasionally step outside and hit the three. Uses her size well around the rim, rebounding in traffic and finishing through contact.

Up from No. 54: Intimidating post presence that takes up space and dominates the glass. Moves well. Has a chance to really take off once she develops her left hand and gets more physical inside when it comes to sealing for position.

With a 10-point outing, Ferguson played her very valuable role in notching her team’s first victory of the weekend by virtue of a very lopsided victory at the expense of TBS Think Big 17U out of South Carolina. She was one element of an offense that did plenty of running up and down the court to score consistent points against the Palmetto State-based team. She also had her opportunities at the free throw line. As a 2026, she is someone who is playing up several years in class and it is fitting given her skillset is indicative of someone with more of a veteran mindset.

Nice size to play on the interior. Moves well on the floor and has a nice-looking jumper 15 feet and in. She has the intangibles to be an imposing player in the paint. Footwork on the block continues to improve. Hope to see her in live-game action very soon. She was a little banged up when I saw her play last. If her motor matches her natural gifts, she will definitely be a name to track.

Ferguson was a force inside. Always finding her position on the block. Soft hands at the rim which allows her to finish. A player that uses her size and strength to her advantage. Throughout the games she showed her ability to run rim to rim and create scoring opportunities for her teammates. Solid rebounder on both ends of the floor. She knows how to finish through the contact and has tremendous upside. I look for her to be one the dominant post players in the state this upcoming season.

Anaya was one of the true post at the event. She played through pain most of the event but her toughness showed through. She worked for position many possesions and caught passes in traffic making quick decisions on what post move to use. She was effective going over her left shoulder and used her dribble on the block to muscle defender closer to the rim. She made her presence felt and does mo spurts. I hope to see her again soon at full strength.
