Check out my analysis on the real GameChangers who I got to get a look at here in Dallas this weekend! These talented prospects shined every second they were on the court, and are really starting to turn heads with their play. Do not be surprised when you see these names pop up everywhere once the season starts to get rolling…

Kinley is a high level wing who specializes at getting into the paint with her handle, and using her soft feathery touch to score over the top of her opponents. She loved getting to her bunny hooks and runners in the lane, and displayed a nice little floater as well. She was great at utilizing her length to score over the top of smaller guards and really knew how to take advantage of her mismatches when she can. She has an incredibly smooth and patient game, and takes her time to get to her spots up and down the court. I loved watching her patiently take what the defense gave her, whether that was shooting from beyond the arc, stopping on a dime in the mid-range and pulling up or driving hard and attacking the basket. Defensively, she is an elite on ball defender who can move her feet to stay in front of anyone but more importantly has active hands. Her hands have a knack with coming up with steals and blocks, she routinely poked the ball free from her opponents and made them frustrated with her positioning. Kinley has all of the tools to become a very effective weapon at the next level.

Pressley is a high level player who can play any position 3-5 and maybe even the guard spot if her team could afford it with her vision! She is the embodiment of a point forward at this level, as she was able to dominate on the interior and create looks for her teammates. She played out of the high post and along the three point line within the half court, making good reads and trying to find her teammates for easy back door cuts. However where she specialized was on the fast break, making good decisions with the ball in her hands and understanding the size mismatch she had most of the time down the court. If there was a player back to cut off her angle, you can bet on Powell to fire out the right kick out pass to find her open teammates. Her basketball IQ was higher than almost everyone on the court, which frustrated her at times. I would be really intrigued to watch her perform within a real set system where she was more comfortable!

Jordan is a high level shooting guard/ small forward who specializes at locking up on the defensive end and knocking down shots on the perimeter. I was very impressed by how well she was able to move into open space and she always seemed ready to shoot, even after jamming up her finger pretty bad early in the event. Her grit and determination that she showed on the court really stood out to me. With the ball in her hands, she constantly made good decisions, especially on the fast break where she found her teammates up the court who had the advantage. Her unselfishness and willingness to make the right basketball play was a truly fun thing to watch!

She has a fantastic motor, and works hard on both ends of the court. She is constantly cutting and moving into space when she does not have the ball, wearing out her opponent more on that end of the court than she gets worn out defending them! She has quick feet which allows her to stay in front of ball handlers, and cut off driving angles.

Highlights

Ti’Heiress is a shifty player with the ball in her hands who specializes in turning the corner on her opponents in the half court. She is great at using her handle to get wherever she wants on the court. She has the size to play and defend multiple positions, likely making her a coveted player at McAlester this year! I loved watching her finish at the rim, even against bigger opponents. She was able to adjust her shot angle in the lane and make tough finishes look routine. I was blown away with how well she was able to reach around her opponents and flick up a shot out of their reach. She has all the tools to become an effective slasher at the next level already with how well she sees driving angles and how she can put up a shot with a defender draped around her.
