We begin with a commitment that actually took place at the conclusion of the 2025 calendar year. Twitty made her commitment announcement that she will be heading to Columbia International University to play her college ball. Before she starts her college journey in the Midlands, she has a bit more business to take care of with her current high school team – Chapman. The Panthers are currently in the playoffs and earned a 55-32 victory over Belton-Honea Path in the first round of this year’s 3A tournament. Twitty scored 18 points that game and has averaged 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals per contest this season. 

Good things come to those who wait. Chapman – which was ranked seventh in the most recent 3A girls coaches’ poll – had its first-round playoff contest against Belton-Honea Path delayed because the team originally was at the wrong school. Twitty ensured that even with the delayed tipoff that the Panthers would not be denied a berth into the second round. The final score was 55-32 and Twitty led Chapman’s offensive efforts with 18 points. On Saturday, the Panthers will return to action for its second-round matchup against Christ Church. Once the season concludes for Chapman, Twitty will transition to her collegiate life at Columbia International University.

Twitty is one of four seniors on this year’s 3A Chapman team. She is also one of three team captains. The Panthers may have been on the wrong end of a 56-38 decision to 5A Division 1 Boiling Springs, but Twitty made plenty of the right plays as evidenced by her 14-point effort. Twitty displays her leadership, veteran instincts and confidence by calling for the ball when she believes she can make a play. While listed as either a three or a four on the Chapman roster, Twitty has the ball-handling skills of a point guard as well as a 3-point shot more indicative of someone who plays the two. 

Nearly two weeks ago, this senior standout from 3A Chapman landed an offer from Neosho County Community College in Kansas. Twitty has proudly worn the SC Eagles UA Rise 17U uniform throughout this year’s travel campaign – which included a stop at on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit at the Triumph Region Finals in Columbus, Georgia. Prior to that, she ran with KST Wolves in what will be her final go-round on the grassroots realm. Twitty is a two-sport athlete who has also competed in volleyball throughout her athletic career. She has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader and averaged 8.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals last season for the Panthers. 

Any college coaches out there looking for a versatile forward that can connect from range? There is one in the South Carolina Upstate that proudly sports the navy and orange of 3A Chapman. Twitty led an offensive clinic for the Panthers as her 13 points propelled her team to an emphatic victory over 2A High Point Academy. At 5-foot-11, Twitty displays consistently how efficient she can be as a scorer and rebounder. Her tall frame is complimented by the length she also possesses. Twitty also managed to connect on a couple of 3-pointers in a display of her offensive versatility.
