Climbing 16 spots from 48th to 32nd overall, Knox is a lot like Curnutte in the sense that she is in line for a massive boost in role and production as a Senior. Damysia was limited to 13 games as a Junior but should be 100% when her Senior season starts. She’s a playmaker at the point guard spot who is at her best when she’s getting downhill and getting paint touches. Look for Damysia to have a big boost in stats and overall production this winter.

Knox missed half the season for the Lady Jags but still makes a move up from 118th to 48th in the latest update. Damysia was having a big season before it ended and settling into her role on a really good Cooper team that ended up making a run to Rupp and she should be ready for a breakout Senior season when she gets back.

Knox has an explosive first step, gets low, and makes very long strides when she drives to the hoop. She also moves well without the ball and scored a layup on a dive cut to the hoop, made a tough catch and a strong finish.

Her school team made it to the semi-finals of the Sweet 16 last season and is so loaded with talent that Knox was not even on the roster. Think about that, a team with the luxury of not needing a player this talented on the VArsity team. That ought to make more than a few Coaches jealous.

Knox was wearing a different number than what I had on my paper, so the whole time I was watching her game I just kept wondering who #3 was because she kept making impressive plays on both sides of the ball. I’m glad I eventually found out who it was because she was by far one of the best players out there on Saturday. Knox’s passing ability is beyond impressive. She sees the floor and can throw perfect passes over/through a defense. Knox has such good handles and her moves can get her past her defender with ease. She’s quick and she is a tough defender. She was elevating to get steals and deflections all game. Knox also was a vocal leader on the floor and I was extremely impressed with her overall game.
