Haylee put on a scoring clinic in a district showdown, erupting for a career-high 43 points to lead the Cooper Jaguars past the Ryle Raiders. She was flawless from deep, going a perfect 6-for-6 from three-point range, delivering a performance that powered the win and left no doubt who controlled the night.

Haylee had an amazing sophomore season hitting 59 threes at a smooth 41% clip! She was Cooper’s leading scorer at 16.4 points per game and the leading rebounder at 7.5 per contest, showing her all-around impact! Haylee also shot a blistering 85.6% from the free throw line! Cooper won another 9th Region championship last year and will look to do the same again this season!

Last season, Haylee averaged a team-leading 16.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game on efficient splits of 47/41/86, guiding Cooper to their fourth consecutive 9th Region championship and Sweet 16 appearance, while also being named Region Player of the Year. She then carried that momentum into the spring/summer, winning her second straight UAA championship with WV Thunder 16U Johnson and earned a spot on the 16U All-AAU Team. Along the way, she added a bevy of Division I offers to her bag, including several from the high-major/high-mid major level. Haylee is quickly entering a stratosphere of her own and the sky is the limit for her college potential.

She went 11/17 from the field and 5/6 from the free throw line. Cooper is on a 7-game win streak and will travel to Lexington on Tuesday to face Frederick Douglass.
