About Ashlynn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Tall, versatile guard known for their strong finishing ability at the rim, using size and body control to absorb contact and convert in traffic. Thrives in transition and attacking closeouts. Defensively, I bring a high-level, locked-in presence, capable of guarding multiple positions on the perimeter and often under the rim. Strong communication on the court, vocal leader and build team cohesion.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m kind and supportive, always pushing myself and others to keep going and never give up. I practice every day, stay committed to the grind, and lead by example through hard work and encouragement.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Opportunity basketball, lacrosse, volunteer in children's ministry where I inspire youth to be the best version of themselves, and I volunteer at kids camps.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had through basketball and lacrosse, which have helped shape my discipline and teamwork. I also volunteer in children’s ministry, where I work to inspire youth to be the best version of themselves, and I help out at kids camps, creating a positive and encouraging environment for every child I meet.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a coach who took the love of the game from me, punching whiteboards at halftime, throwing papers at us, calling us names, grabbing us by our jerseys to yell in our faces. I love the game too much to let it stay that way, so I made the difficult decision to transfer schools. It came with a cost,a waiting year before I could play varsity again, but it brought back my love for the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with a cohesive and collaborative team, that supports their players and helps them grow on and off the court.
