This class is loaded with guards and it is PGH Alabama goal to let everyone learn more about them. The Fall Rankings were released earlier, and this article would like to introduce you to 5 players that will be making their mark to get in that top 10 rankings, just watch as they begin their junior year.

We are going to start with Muscle Shoal's own [player_tooltip player_id='346156' first='Tamora' last='Brown']. She is the younger sister of Jasmine Hammon, scoring record holder at UAH and believe me baby sister is coming at those records, and she is still in high school. Tamora can score all over the floor, has length and a high motor. Her release and mechanic are on point; which all counts for her ability to score from wherever the defense gives her. On the defensive side, she plays hard, first to get on the ground for loose balls and will fight for rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='323405' first='Bailey' last='Tetro'], when watching Good Hope play, you may think you are seeing double and yes you are, Bailey has an identical twin that plays along side her. Bailey is a high tempo player on both ends of the court but on the offensive end, she can score from anywhere but prefers to get the ball to an open teammate and get the offense flowing. I was first introduce to the Tetro twins from an "and one" video where Bailey was shown delivering several assist moves. She leads her team in assists, steals and deflections, and her coach said "...she gets more excited about making plays for other people ....".

[player_tooltip player_id='405991' first='Jasmyn' last='Thomas'] Located in Auburn, this 4A program has always made noise in the AHSAA girls basketball history, Coach Edwards always has a diamond in the rough. Jasmyn has stepped it up in this program, being a part of the team's return to the Final Four, with her scoring ability. She CAN score, had back-to-back games this year where she scored 51 total points. Jasmyn can handle the ball well, take advantage of the openings on the floor, gets to the basket and scores. On defense, she is scrappy and hustles to track down loose balls and gain extra possessions for team. Look for Loachapoka to go deep into the playoffs again this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='323214' first='Taylor' last='Farrar'] coming from East Limestone which is one of the "basketball" schools in the North Alabama area. She has high motor and great basketball IQ. When watching film, notice that she is extremely active on both ends of the court. Taylor will drive in expecting the contact and finish or pass to that open teammate. She plays at the top of their defense, denying the ball, disrupting passes and taking it to the other end for a score. Taylor also has good handles and does a nice job at the PG position.

[player_tooltip player_id='381467' first='Jazmyn' last='Bigham'] One of the things PGH Alabama wants to do is give more exposure to the southern region of the state, and now there is 6-1 [player_tooltip player_id='381467' first='Jazmyn' last='Bigham'] from Theodore. She is one of the most explosive players in the south and has upside that need to be seen. Jaz can score well in the paint and with that 6-1 frame she averaged 6.5 rebounds a game. On defense, she is known for her block shots; at least 3 per game, and the ability to block shots that intimidation causes opponents to alter their shots. Jazmyn also averaged 11.4 points per game this past season and was instrumental in leading Theodore to a good season; losing in the Regional Finals.
