did this season. Kimberly wants their guards to read the floor and make quick reads as their shooters work away from the ball, trying to get into space, which Urban excels at. She’s an athletic kid who can turn the corner on talented defensive guards and find her open teammates in a split second when the defense collapses. She’s the key that unlocks everything Kimberly’s offense when she’s on the floor. Urban didn’t play massive minutes in her first year but earned a starting role on a team as talented as Kimberly, which is as impressive as it gets. She’s the kind of guard coaches want. She’s also one of the rare kids I wish would shoot more, but I understand why she doesn’t.
