The Kimberly wing has consistently earned a more prominent role each year she’s played for the Papermakers, and it’s easy to understand why. Brochtrup is a player who can defend multiple positions and is okay with not taking many shots. I appreciate how engaged she is on both ends of the floor, but her length and athleticism intrigue me most about what she brings to the floor. She will be a player who should garner regional interest this spring and summer.

The Kimberly wing has carved out a role for one of the most talented programs in the state over the last few years, which isn’t easy. Brochtrup has shown she can defend multiple positions and be a floor spacer next to players who will play at the scholarship level at Kimberly and with her AAU team, which makes me think there may be more to her game than what’s met the eye over the past few years. She’s a player who buys into winning basketball, which will be valuable at the next level.

Kimberly is loaded from top to bottom, and Brotchup is a perfect example. The 5’10 wing would start at most schools in D1, but at Kimberly, she’s a rotational kid. Brotchup is a mobile four that can defend multiple positions, knock down perimeter jumpers, and rebound around the rim. Brotchup is talented enough to play at the next level.
