How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play with intensity and elite effort, and I pride myself on being coachable and contributing on both ends of the floor. Defensively, I love taking on the opposing team's best guards, holding them scoreless, creating turnovers, and upsetting their offensive flow. Offensively, I prefer an up-tempo game, pushing in trasition, and am skilled at attacking closeouts and knocking down threes.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
The basketball club that I grew up playing in focused heavily on fundamentals, and their mantra was "How you do one thing is how you do everything." Their approach help shape me into having a consistently high level of effort, intensity, attention to details, and positive attitude in my athletics, academics and extracurriculars. I also love to go on adventures, laugh and have fun!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a Girl Scout Ambassador. I've been a part of this organization since 1st grade, and I love the friendships I've made and the experiences I've had as a Girl Scout. It's more than just selling cookies - we do numerous community service projects throughout the year, and help run camps and other events for the younger Girl Scout groups. It's really helped develop my leadership skills.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I've had several opprtunities to be a camp counselor at several day camps and even an overnight camp for Girl Scouts. We have a Daisy & Brownie troop that we work closely with to create activites throughout the year that help them earn badges and learn other skills. It's rewarding because the younger girls really look up to us, so we try to set a very good example for them.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm open to all levels of college basketball. I'm just looking for the right team fit and academics. I plan to study businness in college.
