Her relentless aggression fits the Tigers’ defensive identity, as she attacks every possession with purpose. Slater has good handles and the ability to get downhill and finish around the rim. Against Fairview, she got to the basket with ease, created contact, and earned multiple trips to the charity stripe. On defense, she thrives on forcing turnovers and igniting fast breaks for easy buckets. Another outstanding performance for the West Texas A&M commit.

Once Slater gets the ball, she attacks the rim and has a versatile arsenal of moves to utilize in the paint. A massive point of emphasis for Slater this season is defense. Staying between passing lanes and reading the offense, she’s added 3.6 SPG to her contributions along with a consistent 14.9 PPG. Expect Slater to continue getting in rhythm in 2026.

So far in her senior year, Juliet has not disappointed. The game has slowed down for her, allowing her to get to her spots much easier on offense. She’s also been reliable on the defensive end, consistently making plays for her team.

Juliet’s versatility allows her to impact the game from multiple positions on the floor. She’s reliable as a spot-up shooter and handles the ball with control under pressure. On both ends, she continues to make winning plays that elevate her team’s performance.

Add in her ability to knock down the three and defend at a high level, and she’s a matchup problem for any opponent.

Quick on her feet, Slater fights through screens and guards her matchup well each game. In transition, Slater has her head on a swivel when she has the ball and constantly seeks out open teammates.

Juliet is the glue that holds this team together. An elite rebounder who keeps possessions alive or ends them on defense, she also hits threes in both the half-court and transition and is always dependable on the defensive end.

Juliet fits well into the Colorado Hoopsters system with her ability to rebound and stretch the floor with the three-ball. Her shooting opens up the floor giving guards and post players room to operate and attack. Defensively, she uses her size and athleticism to guard multiple positions.
