I dropped the Top Performers yesterday, hey I cover a lot of ground in a condensed location, well depending on what I did the previous night. Nevertheless, here are some other players that stood out on Day 1, I'll drop New Faces from opening day, probably another mix, as well as those who stood out the rest of the event

Keep in mind I have dropped both 2026 as well as 2027 classes

[player_tooltip player_id='464857' first='Sara' last='Casner']-5'6 SG (Silverton) [program_tooltip program_id='712536' first='Hoop' last='10'] United [2023]

Casner caught my eye at an Individual Showcase and opened both of them the day after at a tournament. Yes, our initials are the same and like me, she gets #THRO[program_tooltip program_id='715726' first='WBA' last='']CK because she's heady, plays within herself, and understands her role. On top of that, she falls into that "you won't outwork me" group, and watching her outrebound players over 6'o always makes me smile. Well, so does her jumper and she scores off the dribble

Jolie Aguirre-5'4 CG (Moe and Gene Johnson) CTX Lady Knights [2023]

Aguirre has been one of the most consistent guards I saw all summer. Her ability to play both the 1 and 2 is one of the reasons, as well as dropping the 3, as well as a complete 4-point play to win a game are others. The main reason is that she "makes those around her better" and that's huge, wait let me drop #THRO[program_tooltip program_id='715726' first='WBA' last='']CK because she controls the tempo nicely, is vocal on the court, and sees the floor very well

Bobbie Fouqet-6'0 PF (Claude) [program_tooltip program_id='712536' first='Hoop' last='10'] Premier [2023]

Fouqet deserved a bouquet, not sure if that rhymes, for her "alley oops" finishing strongly after contact. Why not drop the hashtag again, #THRO[program_tooltip program_id='715726' first='WBA' last='']CK, because I just don't see that like I used to. She's strong and powerful, rebounds on both ends of the court, and to give you an idea of how strong and powerful, she scored on putbacks with players hanging on her. I also wrote UPS so flashing back to the event, she had good timing

Payton Anderson-5'11 PF (LK Pinkston) [program_tooltip program_id='712952' first='Texas' last='Elite'] Premier [2023]

Anderson was strong around the basket and scored multiple ways in the paint, including putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends of the court. She also has a nice first step and attacked the basket from the wing as well as straight down the middle and the contact was irrelevant because she completed the play, and sometimes the "and one'

[player_tooltip player_id='590860' first='Madison' last='Griggs']-5'9 SG (Mansfield Legacy) [program_tooltip program_id='713138' first='Lady' last='Razorbacks Elite'] [2024]

Griggs took over the cover photo with her off-balance finish but that was only one of the times she scored off-balance, off the dribble. She also showed she could create her shot and the pull-up jumper was effective so it gave her options since she handled the ball and mixed it up. She also rebounded on both ends and did a good job defensively

[player_tooltip player_id='802568' first='Hayden' last='Hurst']-6'3 C (Parish Episcopal) Triumph 15U [2026]

Hurst should have been on the 2026 list, she was a "write in" and I forgot, one more time, non-erroneous rosters are important. She's long and athletic, nice wingspan yet a nicer upside because she showed signs of becoming a force to be reckoned with. She blocks, alters, and (or) deflects shots. She rebounds well, on both ends, and runs the floor. She also finished around the basket and even showed she could score facing it

Darabasi Itata- 6'1 PF ( C A McMillen) [program_tooltip program_id='715690' first='DC' last='Queens'] Black 2024

Itata is "long and athletic" and one more time, that is the BASE. Why, because it's a profile I use to evaluate, and more importantly, MANY college coaches use it as well, they offer next-level opportunities. What are her intangibles? Timing is definitely one as she blocked shots left and right, with her left and right. She also scored around the basket and off the dribble plus she defended

Georgia Moore-5'2 (Lake Country Christian) [program_tooltip program_id='715168' first='True' last='Texas Hoops'] 15U Red [2025]

Moore had a different number listed, yet I kept seeing her make great decisions, that's one of the instances I'll find out who the player is if they can PLAY. She saw the floor and handled the ball under pressure but she also understands when to push the ball and when not to, controlling tempo is major. She has a nice jumper and good upside, #sizedontmatter when you can play
