[player_tooltip player_id='430812' first='Azailah' last='Funches'], 5'11", SG, Shawnee Mission South - The transfer from Lone Jack (MO) is long, strong, and elevates well on shots and the boards. Funches has a terrific first step, handles in full court and half court traffic, can create off the bounce, and shoot with range with a quick release. An impact transfer for the Raiders, last season at Lone Jack she average 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='532209' first='Ayana' last='Leesman'], PG/SG, Topeka - The wiry Leesman I saw at 6A state tournament defending the current top player in the '24 class, Oklahoma State commit Jaydn Wooten. She is long limbed and solid quickness. She also has good transition speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='532206' first='Ladaysha' last='Baird'], SG, Topeka - My PGH colleague Akiem Bailum reported in his May 22 PGH Live Day 3 report that she is a problem for opponents on both ends of the floor due to her ability to match them step-for-step with and without the ball. Baird also can shoot the three ball well, get into position to make plays well, and can absorb contact on the finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='532207' first='Caelyn' last='Ferguson'], 6'0", CG/SF, Heritage Christian - Ferguson earned selection to Kaw Valley League inaugural 1st team follow ing last season. She averaged 14 points and 5.9 rebounds. At a USJN event in July she was named a Pool D all-star.

[player_tooltip player_id='503313' first='Claira' last='Dannefer'], 6'0", PF, Abilene - Dannefer has a solid frame and good length to showcase her game. She elevates well and quickly off the interior catch She also has a slick up-and-under move she uses at the elbows off an entry pass to earn finishes. Dannefer boxes inside, runs well with solid speed, and has the athleticism to gather off-target passes to create.

[player_tooltip player_id='532208' first='Ma'Khiyah' last='Jones'], 5'8", CG, Wichita Southeast - Jones has good strength to go with a solid build. While I need to see more of her defensive and perimeter movement and shooting games what stands out is her ability to create off the dribble and with the pass. She makes solid bounce entry passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='532210' first='Mary' last='Lukert'], CG, Sabetha - Lukert picked up a first team selection in the always tough Big 7 Conference last season. She has the quickness to play the top of the 3/4 court press, is solid off the bounce with either hand, and has three point shooting ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='532211' first='Kinsey' last='Perine'], 5'7", CG, Rossville - Perine led the Bulldogs in assists, steals, blocked shots, and was second in scoring as a freshman. She is heading into her junior season as a Two-time Mid-East League first team.

[player_tooltip player_id='532212' first='Marissa' last='Richards'], 5'9", SF, Ottawa - Active with good length, what I noticed right away with Richards is her headiness as to where to pass the ball in transition and in the half court. She has good speed and has a fairly quick release on her three point shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='532213' first='Logan' last='Stucky'], 5'3", PG, Sedgwick - Two big things about Stucky is that she is hard nosed on both ends of the floor and is fast enough with the ball to beat many an opponent down the floor for a score. She also has good athleticism to change directions off the bounce and finish with a scooper and can lose a defender with a quick crossover. Stucky earned Heart of America League second team hnnors following last season.
