Quality. When I think of women's basketball, the state of Tennessee pops up on my radar first. Of course I'm biased as this is my home state, but within these borders, we have some ball players for every collegiate level. No matter if it's in the public school or private school sector, this state has the girls that just get it done.

Though we have some big dogs that always get the pub ( We have power 5 girls all over the state), I want to show some love to those who may get overlooked. Here are some players that people need to keep their eyes on. They are solid players that pack a mighty punch. These girls are the lynchpin to their squads success. Humble and successful both on and off the court, keep these young ladies in mind when you are looking to catch some hoops around the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='285332' first='Brianna' last='Burgess'] (Sr./G/ Creek Wood)- Solid player who is super tough. Multi- level scoring threat who finds the bottom of the net. Can handle the rock, come off screens to finish with a sweet jumper, and can get to the rim. She's a hustler, someone who grabs boards, dives for loose balls, and plays her heart out. She will be continuing her career at Trevecca University after this year. What a great pickup for the Lady Trojan program.

[player_tooltip player_id='285370' first='Madi' last='Lewis'] (Sr./G/ Columbia Academy)- Another kid who can score the rock. Can score it inside and out. Can stroke it from beyond the arc or even put the ball on the floor and finish against contact. She's a gym rat who will go down as one of the best to ever suit up for the Lady Bulldogs. Keep her in mind and watch her score in double figures nightly for her squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='245289' first='Olivia' last='Lee'] (Sr./G/Jackson Trinity)- Such an asset to the TCA attack, this future Union University hooper is a stud. Another multi-level scoring threat that is a hustler. No matter if it is on offense or defense, Olivia is going to play each possession as if it was her last. Blessed with a nice stroke and ability to finish at multiple locations on the court, she has more to her game than putting the rock in the bottom of the net. From rebounding to defending, this girl possesses an all around game that gives her club an each every since time the ball tips off.

[player_tooltip player_id='321872' first='Crysti'anna' last='Whitehead'] (SR./SF/ Memphis Business Academy)- Stud. This kid just gets it done. Hard worker who can shoot the lights out. Plays with confidence and will let that thing fly whether it be beyonce the arc or inside in the painted area. Contributes on the boards, makes timely assists, and is a great teammate. Shaq will be suiting up for Arkansas Pine Bluff next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='290951' first='Sammy' last='Taylor'] (Jr./G/ Fulton)- Overlooked but never overmatched, this year will be a come out party for this talented ball player. A multi-level scoring threat that is an absolute dawg on the court. Gritty and fiesty, she's a 32 minute ball player who gets in down on both ends of the floor. No matter if it's handling the rock, knocking down shots, finding open teammates, rebounding, or defending, Sammy will always leave her mark on the game no matter the opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id='409015' first='Ava' last='Krumwiede'] (So./F/ Harpeth Hall)- 6'0 inside out player who can knock down the 3 ball, but have her way inside the paint. Possesses a nice mid-range game. Pick n'roll, pick n' pop, flash high post, kick short corner, Ava has the ability to be clutch in multiple places on the floor. Awesome on the boards, she's a great shot blocker, deterring shots and opponents hopes.
[player_tooltip player_id='513239' first='Michelle' last='Shields'] (Fr./ PG/ Elizabethon)- Combo guard whose phenomenal with the ball in her hands. Multi-level scoring threat who plays the game with poise. Can get to the rim, unleash a nice floater game, and can knock down the 3 ball consistently. Has great court awareness, dropping timely dimes to teammates. Defends well, causing havoc for her opponents. Young talent who will blossom and flourish over the years.
