Over the past week I have been able to see teams I have never watched in person and a couple that have had a wave of older players graduate and have others step forward. Here is a look at some who stood out.

Erin Albright, 5'5", PG, Kingman, 2023 - Albright is a slightly built ball handler who handles especially well through traffic. Chemistry with her back court mate [player_tooltip player_id='398383' first='Morgan' last='Freund'] was very evident. Albright showed solid speed and quickness and passed well in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='649337' first='Mackenzie' last='Alvarez'], 5'6", SG/PG, Hutchinson Trinity, 2024 - Alvarez looked to get to the basket off with a good first step. With athleticism and strength she absorbed contact and still finished. She also showed scoring ability from three point range.

[player_tooltip player_id='616738' first='Addison' last='Crockett'], 5'6", PG, Hutchinson Trinity, 2025 - Crockett had quick hands to get steals defending one-on-one. She scores well off the drive and hit from three point range. Occasionally tentative finishing in transition but did finish with either hand at speed but was a little better to her right. Crockett has a solid build, hustled in transition with speed; and jumped well to the ball on rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='398383' first='Morgan' last='Freund'], 5'8", SG/PG, Kingman, 2025 - Freund showed herself to be pure a basketball player with a strong will. She showed the ability to command her position and pick up her team with her energy. Working well with her back court mate Erin Albright, she showed off good handles, back court smart on offense and defense; and an ability to score and get to the line. Freund shot well from the line and also was a three point threat, shooting them well in flow.

[player_tooltip player_id='450398' first='Maci' last='Neufeld'], 5'7", SG, Inman, 2023 - The solidly built shooter canned at least four three pointers in a win over Kingman. She wasted little movement on her shot and also scored well around the basket. Neufeld ran well and was active without the ball in the half court.

Isla Nesmith, 5'5", PG, El Dorado, 2026 - Nesmith is a promising, raw talent but the ability to handle the ball was there. She showed good speed and half court vision.

[player_tooltip player_id='719108' first='Kenna' last='Woods'], 5'9", PG, Inman, 2026 - Woods looked to drive and scored challenged jumpers near the basket. She is lengthy and had quickness to generate turnovers. Woods elevated well around the basket, posted up smaller defenders on the block; and shot the mid-range jumper with a smooth release and little wasted movement.
