Gallion leads her team in assists and steals per game. She is also averaging right under 18 points per game. Ava does an outstanding job attacking downhill. She has a quick first step and she knows exactly how to use it to her advantage. Ava has a quick release and she doesn’t need much time to get her shot off. She is one of the few guards that will pull up in transition from anywhere. She is not afraid of any moment, and she plays the game with a non-stop motor.

When you put time in the weight room, it shows. Gallion knows exactly how to use her body, and strength to shield defenders. She has elite court vision, and knows exactly how to drop dimes to her teammates. She can score, but she is the point guard that does not have to score to be effective. She’s a leader, and one of the best ball distributors in the state of WV. I love watching this one compete on the defensive side of the ball. Check out her highlights on Hudl:

Don’t look at 5’4 or 5’5 and ever think small. Nothing about Gallion’s game is small. She’s a high IQ kid that understands how to use her body as a shield to score on taller opponents. She’s a great ball handler that is strong with either hand! She is active on defense and she has an extremely high motor! Ava has a beautiful outside shot. She scored numerous 3’s over the weekend. Ava has a shot that always looks like it is going in! She doesn’t need much space to pull the trigger either! If you want a guard that will do all of the little things with all of the extra effort, call Ava!
