Here are some standouts from the Nashville event.
Jada Brooks (Sr./G/Clarksville Northwest)– shifty guard who has a little sauce to her game. Got down hill multiple times to finish at the rim. Used her dribbling ability to create space and knocked down clutch 3s.
Emily Monson Emily Monson 6'0" | SF Blackman | 2023 State TN (Sr./F/Blackman)– super tough kid. Knocked down shots from inside and out. As each game went on, you could tell her confidence grew and grew. Was big on the boards and started transition breaks.
Lyriq Mastin Lyriq Mastin 5'7" | CG Blackman | 2025 State TN ( So/ G/ Blackman)– quick and shift guard who was phenomenal attacking down hill. Could score it in the paint easily or hit the 3 ball from deep. Was a dawg on the defensive end, leading to transition buckets.
Kaelyn Flowers (Sr./PG/ Blackman) – another super tough kid who is a “go getter.” Me for us type of player, always poise with the ball in her hands. Up tempo player that can get to the rim or knock down the mid-range or 3pt shot. Straight dawg on the defensive end. Quiet killer who loves to compete. The heartbeat of a talented Lady Blaze team.
Braley Bushman (Sr./G/ Page)– downhill player who can get to the rim. Has multiple counter moves in her arsenal that allows her to finish against contact or kick out to open teammates. Uses her body well down low, creates advantages for her club. Defends well on the defensive end. Love her ability to see the floor and make the right plays at the right time.
LaTasia Williamson LaTasia Williamson 6'2" | C Hillsboro | 2023 State TN (Sr./C/ Hillsboro) – anchor in the middle, was key in blocking shots, controlling the paint on both ends. Plays with a lot of energy and effort. Heady player who can score the ball from 15 ft and in.
Bella Shepherd Bella Shepherd 5'6" | SG Lipscomb-Academy | 2026 State TN (Fr./G/ Lipscomb Academy) – knock down shooter who can stand and pop it or put it on the floor. Hard nose kid who has a great basketball I.Q. She can defend, make timely assists, and create opportunities for her teammates. Super talented kid with a bright future.
Kamil Washum Kamil Washum 5'4" | PG Hillsboro | 2023 State TN (Sr./PG/ Hillsboro)– heady player who runs the offense effortlessly. Floor general who can get to the lane or shoot for downtown. Lockdown defender who can play a problem. Was the heartbeat of her squad bringing effort and energy throughout the course of the tournament.
AC Shirley(Fr./G/MTCS)– Freshman sensation who is a deep ball specialist . Consistent from beyond the arc, AC can find the bottom of the net time and time again. Had 32 against a tough Ravenwood squad. Young in classification , this girl is a special talent. With nice size and ability to play inside and out, skies are the limit for this young hooper.

(So./G/ Lipscomb Academy)– Knockdown shooter who is poised with the ball in her hands. Can stroke it from deep or finish inside the arc. Isn’t afraid to guard the other team’s best player. You can tell this girl loves to compete. No matter the situation, Leah was in the mix. From loose balls, rebounds, transition buckets, ect., she had her hand in that possession one way or another. Look for her to continue to grow throughout the season. Special talent who contributes in many ways for this Lady Mustang attack.
