Continue ReadingFinishing the day with a quiet but highly efficient 29, Palmer just knows how to get it done. From the arc, to cutting the paint, soft touch around the rim.. she can score in a multitude of ways when receiving the ball. As her skillset continues to develop, her talent will translate at the next level.
Olivia in the paint is hard to deal with. She is tough, aggressive and plays with no quit. Against Joliet West, Kerdnt had a day with an efficient 26 and crashed the boards at a high clip as well. The white water commit was the driving force behind the win.
Highlights
There’s not much that Carlson can’t do, and game 1 she did it all. Gets to the paint at will, strong with the ball in her hand and can make plays for others just as well as she can for herself. Every bucket Brooke gets she works for.. a tough 22 to finish the day off.
Ciara Gentle
Ciara Gentle
An unorthodox type of release, but it’s fluid, and it’s usually falls with all net. Gentle is all of 6’4 and she knows how to use her length on the defensive side of the floor. She challenges, contests and blocks a number of shots on possessions. Her overall skillset and frame is still developing, and when it comes together, Gentle will be a solid addition to a college program.
Easily one of the best players in the state regardless of position or class. Day 1 Lenee had another stat line where she showed her versatility to do more than score. She can rebound at high clip and facilitate for 5 possession straights, then go score for the next with no drop off. 10 pts, 8 rebounds, 7 assists. She has the perfect frame, IQ, and skillset to be a consistent stat box stuffer while still playing through a system.
Chyne Lewis
Chyne Lewis
First time really watching Chyne play from start to finish.. and this kids motor is insane. She has no fear when hitting the paint, and is comfortable at the line when she gets there. She’s aggressive combo guard who can bring some serious depth to a program.
