Palmer just seems to get more comfortable on the court as time goes on. She adapts well, she scores within the system or from a breakdown. She can score from mid to the paint, and will also take the long ball if it’s open. Still plays with good tempo and pace

Palmer still remains one of my favorite players to watch in the state. I appreciate the non flashy or overly athletic players because they truly have to work on their skill to be impactful. Palmer does just that.. impact the game. She plays at her own pace, own speed, her own rhythm.. and the All State First team nomination was a showing of it. 1k points to end her junior year as well, and I don’t see her progression slowing down anytime soon. She brings so much versatility to the program she plays for. Excited to see what she does this summer.

It can be difficult to rebound from a loss in the Semifinal and give it your all in the 3rd Place game, but that was no problem for Palmer last weekend. The talented Shooting Guard scored 25pts and brought down 11reb to help Geneva claim 3rd Place in Class 4A. Leah is a knock-down shooter from beyond the three-point line and excels in the lane with her toughness and strength.

Palmer is my favorite on this team, simply because of the pace she plays at and the low maintenance type of attitude she has (honestly thats the whole program). Leah can go off for 30, or give you 10,10 and 5 and still have huge impact on the game. She stays poised, balanced and seems to always be in control of the possession that she’s involved in. Coaches need to get on this kid ASAP. She will adjust to any system she’s placed in.

Finishing the day with a quiet but highly efficient 29, Palmer just knows how to get it done. From the arc, to cutting the paint, soft touch around the rim.. she can score in a multitude of ways when receiving the ball. As her skillset continues to develop, her talent will translate at the next level.

Palmer is one of my favorite players to watch. She seems to just play whatever role is needed of her without complaints. She can score at all levels, defend multiple positions, and still conserve enough energy to do all the little and important things that most players wouldn’t do.

Simplicity gets the job done, and thats Palmers game. She has a semi-quick trigger with a great follow through (always leaves it up) and is able to knockdown shots from the mid to the three. She can attack the basket and finish with both hands. Leah is for sure to make some noise this season.
