One more time, "talent is everywhere". Hence, you need not only to continue to work and improve but observe talent outside of your box, whether it's district, city, or state because that old saying "there's something for everybody" for the next level is one of the dumbest sayings I've ever heard because mathematically it's impossible yet...

Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana were represented. Due to the airline debacle, McEarchen (Georgia) didn't make the trip and I missed Harvard Westlake (California) but here's what/who I saw from Arkansas, I missed Little Rock Central

Marion

[player_tooltip player_id='442372' first='Kiera' last='Neal']-6'0 SF [2023]

Neal is "long and athletic" which is one of the profiles I use while evaluating but importantly so do college coaches and they offer scholarships. Her intangibles are she scores off the dribble with ease, first step is something t deal with yet she also has good timing to block shots, well alter and deflect as well. She plays the passing lane and did a good job defending "on the ball"

Alyse Holliman-6'0 PF [2023]

Holliman used her body well around the paint as she scored on putbacks as well as facing the basket. She's strong and attacks powerfully so her finishing after contact was nice, and so was her rebounding, on both ends of the court. She understands how to use her athleticism and defended both inside and outside the paint

Jordan Johnson-5'4 G [2023]

Johnson is an athletic guard that played aggressively and was under control on both ends. She created her shot under pressure, and showed the jumper yet her attacking of the basket was pretty impressive when you factor in she has good body control and many of her finishes were completed acrobatically

Fayetteville

[player_tooltip player_id='875494' first='Maiesha' last='Washington']-6'1 G/F [2025]

Washington used her body nicely around the basket and showed the "hands and footwork" to not only get open but to finish strongly after contact included. She also rebounded on both ends and handled the ball well in the open court as well as the set yet her court vision and making good decisions also stood out

[player_tooltip player_id='306117' first='Wynter' last='Beck']-5'7 G [2023]

Beck saw the floor extremely well and I'm talking both in the full court where her on-the-money 30-foot passes in traffic were more than solid and she set her teammates up for scoring opportunities in the set. She's athletic, understands how to get the defender leaning to blow by them, and used good body control on her finishes. Her smothering defense was also a huge plus

[player_tooltip player_id='870000' first='Whitney' last='Brown']-5'5 G [2025]

Brown also used her athleticism well on both ends, yeah she has quick hands and moves her feet on the defensive end to help create turnovers and she also did a good job handling the ball under pressure. She saw the floor and scored off the dribble, using a deceptive first step and her FLOATA was impressive

[player_tooltip player_id='304744' first='Kamille' last='Brown']-5'7 G [2023]

Brown created her shot under pressure and showed she could drop the midrange as well as the long-range from DEEP. She also scored and (or) dished, off the dribble and played solid defense. She also did a good job rebounding and scored on putbacks

[player_tooltip player_id='465503' first='Alexis' last='Cox']-5'9 G [2025]

Cox put the ball on the floor using either hand and she attacked fiercely and contact was irrelevant. She also did a good job seeing the floor but her FLOATA was nice, as well as her "on the ball" pressure

[player_tooltip player_id='309616' first='Chloe' last='Clardy']-5'10 G [2023] Stanford

Clardy is one of those players that makes those around her better, which takes you from good to great. Her BB-IQ and maturity blew me away years ago as both were way ahead of her years and her unselfishness has always stood out as she enjoys setting her teammates up for baskets. Don't get it twisted, she can score both off the dribble and finish with either hand, as well as from the outside, mid to long-range. Her on-the-ball defense was one of her many intangibles that JUST DID IT for me
