<span style="font-weight: 400;">GBB Stock Risers: Underrated Guards (2020)</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">As summer ball is now in full swing, Prep Girls Hoops Kansas takes a look at some of the state’s top players on the rise in a variety of positions.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Below are some of the state’s players to keep your eyes on in the 2020 class</span> <strong>Josie Ibarra, 5’8, G, 2020, Central Christian</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">An athletic guard who is capable of playing the point, the scoring position and could even go out as a wing. she has a high basketball IQ and can shoot from distance and get to the basket and finish off the glass. She's also a good passer and facilitator who can get open shots to our teammates along the perimeter and inside around the basket.</span> <strong>Delaney Rugan, 5’7, G, 2020, Central Plains</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">A nice guard who plays hard on both ends. She can handle the ball and has good speed and Can score when she has an open look. She's at her best when she's playing confident and isn't overthinking place. She's a good passer and defensive player who guards the ball well.</span> <strong>Megan Foster, 5’5’, G, 2020, Waverly</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Foster can operate as a scoring guard and run the point as well. She plays bigger than her listed height and gets inside to rebound in can actually come away with the ball and push the tempo. She has quick hands and is great at playing defense and keeping guards on their toes. Just knows how to play and scores well when she's looking for it.</span> <strong>Molly Hartnett, 5’8, G, 2020, St. Thomas Aquinas</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">A multiple-sport athlete who brings nice experience and athleticism to the floor. Has a strong build and good size as a guard. She handles the ball well and has good footwork on the defensive end. She's strong and can run without being winded. She looks to pass and can score for herself and rebound. A nice glue piece who his only going to improve the more she sees time. </span> <strong>Hallie Vaughn, 5’6, G, 2020, Colby</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">A nice offensive player who can get on the board quickly. She takes her time and is patient with plays. She can rebound well and is also good at forcing turnovers. she can be a lockdown defender at times but looks best on the offensive side staying active and knocking down shots both inside and out. </span> &nbsp;
