One of the most impressive prospects watched this summer is sure to put on a show this winter in small town gyms. Especially with the extra motivation following last year’s Midway squad being knocked out in Class B Regionals. Bowling is tall, with a long wingspan to match. It allows her to rack up the rebounds and blocks. But she’s a true positionless weapon. As with a silky three point shooter and smooth movement, she’s a perimeter threat and can put it on the floor. Expect Bowling to do it all this season. And she’s great proof that no matter the size of school, there’s talent throughout Oklahoma.

Reagan at 6’2 is listed as a small forward but that is just a number this young lady can play anywhere on the court. I witness her get hot from the 3 point knocking down several in a row . Next time down she was posting up scoring on a nice over the left shoulder move. Nice handles and good vision against the press made her an option in the middle or the press breaker.
Defensively she has great understanding of help added with her length made it a possible block every time someone drove to the rim. Check her stats out for the school season and Reagan almost averaged a double double. A prospect that I saw coaches take notice this weekend. Check out my collogue Sam Article from Saturday.

The promising small town wing started her Saturday looking the part as a floor spacing, shooting specialist. She opened the contest with an early barrage of threes with her text book shooting form. While the rest of the game wasn’t quite as loud scoring wise, watching her in person gave a better indication of her movement profile and capable perimeter defensive abilities.

Game Watched: Team Oklahoma vs AAO Flight
The long armed Bowling is an active defender, who did a lot of her damage around the rim. She understands verticality principles, keeping her hands high. So even when not blocking shots, she’s impacting plays around the rim. She had two different reps when stepping out onto the perimeter, one time she overplayed a passing lane and was burned for an easy score. While another had her successfully read the passing lane and deflect a pass. If the second example becomes a regular trend, then Bowling could have good upside as a versatile defensive prospect.
