She started the first quarter 3-3 from 3pt range which allowed Perry to jump to 22-9 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter was all about 2023 Vanderbilt commit, [player_tooltip player_id='138098' first='Khamil' last='Pierre']. Pierre was unstoppable in the 2nd quarter, scoring on nearly every touch she received. Fairfax was led by 2025 G [player_tooltip player_id='509044' first='Saniya' last='Jones'] with 12 points, 2025 G Savannah Helms with 11pts and 2025 F DiannaLynn Howell with 8 points. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Desert Vista advances 77-64</strong> <strong>with win over Valley Vista</strong>. The top ranked team in the state was able to get revenge on last season's postseason loss to Valley Vista on Thursday night, but it wasn't easy. At the end of the first quarter, Desert Vista held a slim 19-17 lead. Desert Vista was able to expand that lead to 8 at the half leading 38-30. In the 3rd quarter Desert Vista exploded to a 57-38 lead and was able to coast to the finish line from there. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='558892' first='Jerzy' last='Robinson'] of Desert Vista led all scorers on the night with 25 points. 2024 G [player_tooltip player_id='205646' first='Eanae' last='Dagons'] tallied 15 points and 2024 ESPN top 100 [player_tooltip player_id='203873' first='Shay' last='Ijiwoye'] contributed 14 points. 2024 F [player_tooltip player_id='586382' first='Emma' last='Dasovich'] led Valley Vista with 16 points followed by 2023 G [player_tooltip player_id='65617' first='Olivia' last='Arvallo'] with 13 points and 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='138099' first='Jocelyn' last='Chavez'] with 12 points. McClintock will test their luck next Friday against #4 Xavier Prep at 7PM. After the first quarter Millennium only led the #11 seed Sandra Day OC 15-13. Sandra Day OC took control of the second quarter and were able to take a 25-23 lead into half. The Tigers came out of halftime on a whole other level. The Tigers went on a 22-3 run in the 3rd quarter which would create a 16 point lead of 48-32. Sandra Day OC would attempt to cut the lead but finally fall 58-52. Millennium was led by 2023 University of California Santa Barbara commit [player_tooltip player_id='138094' first='Bella' last='Barrett'] with 20 points. The Pioneers flew to a 17-6 lead after the first quarter.
