Gabby poured in 14 points for the Highlanders to help them win the KLAA Conference Championship Game against #1 Belleville. She holds records for consecutive made free throws with 47 as a freshman. Gabby became the first Livingston County Player to put her name in the MHSAA record books with 150 career 3-pointers. She eclipsed the 1,000-point scoring mark this season and is Howell’s all-time leading scorer. Gabby is the perfect perimeter player and skilled facilitator to complement their post play.

Gabby became the first girl in Howell history to score 1,000 points during a dominant 59-17 opening night victory at Grand Blanc. Gabby was in the zone from beyond the arc. She scored 23 points (7/10 3pt), with five rebounds and four assists. Gabby contributed 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists in a 90-26 win vs. Clarkston Everest Collegiate. She tallied 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in a hard-fought 41-26 victory vs. #6 Detroit Edison. Gabby hit double-digits in three statistical categories with 46 points, 15 rebounds, and 14 assists. The Highlanders are off to a 3-0 start and firing on all cylinders.

Gabby converted tough layups in traffic and gave Howell a spark with her perimeter shooting at the LBI Mitten Opening. Gabby took the ball hard downhill and finished through contact for the and-one. She pushed the ball with pace in transition, put her defender in jail, switched to her left, and finished the layup. Gabby drilled a quick catch-and-release triple in the corner, then buried another open three. She used a shifty inside-out dribble move to create a driving lane and finished with the bucket. Gabby will be essential to the Highlanders’ success this season.

Gabby, a Northwood University commit, showed out on Saturday at The Smoke, proving once again why she’s known as a knockdown shooter for Capitol City Express . She was on fire from beyond the arc, consistently burying threes and forcing defenses to extend. When defenders doubled her, she made smart reads and delivered crisp passes to set up teammates. Her shooting threat opened up the floor, and she took full advantage, making a major impact throughout the game.

Gabby set a Howell record for career 3-pointers made with 154 and had her sites locked in against Saline on Friday. She drained five triples as the Highlanders defeated Saline 72-44 on senior night.

Piepho had an impressive weekend at The National Championship. She pushes the pace after a defensive rebound while staying under control and can deliver passes for transition buckets. She is able to drive down the lane and finish through contact. She has a smooth shot from behind the arc and connected on multiple threes over the weekend. Keep an eye on Gabby for what looks to be a big junior season.
