Our recap of the Garden State continues with this article as we talk about first team selections in the Colonial Valley Conference. Don't let the size of this conference deceive you because the talent here is second-to-none. Here are our All-CVC First Team selections for the 2022-23 season.

2022-23 All-Colonial Valley Conference First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='325195' first='Rhian' last='Stokes'] - Ewing (2024) *2022-23 CVC Player of the Year

With Stokes already being named as a finalist for our 2022-23 PGH NJ Player of the Year, it was only fitting she was rightfully named the CVC Player of the Year. What an insane junior season she had, averaging 18.5 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 6.4 APG, 6.5 SPG, over a block a game and 1.9 made three-pointers a game. There were so many contributors on this season's Ewing team, but no one more important than Stokes.

[player_tooltip player_id='406940' first='Te'Yala' last='Delfosse'] - Ewing (2024)

The three-headed Class of 2024 monster continues with Ewing and Delfosse, having a career year for the Blue Devils this season. Delfosse finished the year averaging 15.9 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 3.0 APG, 1.8 BPG and 3.6 SPG in 33 games, posting a new career-high in scoring. She was vital down the stretch and scored her 1000th career point as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='325184' first='Joi' last='Johnson'] - Ewing (2024)

We end our talk of Ewing representatives, all three more than deserving of first team selections, with Johnson, who averaged 15.1 PPG and 8.4 RPG in 33 games, including 11 double-doubles and a number of multi-block games. She averaged 2.6 BPG and 1.7 SPG during the season and showed up and showed out during the postseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='404218' first='Kyla' last='Glasser-Hyman'] - Hightstown (2023)

We couldn't do a first team All-CVC selections list without including Glasser-Hyman, one of the best players in the state over the past few years and a player who had a fantastic senior season for Hightstown as a senior. In 30 games, she averaged 17.7 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 5.1 APG, 5.2 SPG and 1.4 made three-pointers per game. She finished out her career with three 20-point games in her last five games of the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='325190' first='Abby' last='Misier'] - Hightstown (2024)

Alongside Glasser-Hyman for the Rams this season was Misier, who went off once again as a junior with a double-double average, 13.8 PPG and 11.8 RPG, along with 3 BPG and over a steal a game. Of her 27 games played this season, 20 of those were double-double performances, just a monster on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='404216' first='Caitlin' last='Landgraf'] - Allentown (2023)

Our final selection for this First Team was a tough one, but Landgraf caught our attention after posting a career year and a double-double average for Allentown as a senior. Her season this year: 12.4 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 1.5 BPG and just under 2.0 SPG in 24 games played. She's improved tremendously over the past few seasons and is more than deserving of a first team selection.
