We at Prep Girls Hoops have become very familiar with Thompson during this portion of the year. We got a glimpse of her recently at Ben Lippen at the Southeast Elite Showcase Fall Ball Session II. She has plenty of height but also approaches the game with a great deal of agility which is not always conventional for frontcourt players. The defense she plays can leave many a would-be ball handler prone to turning the ball over. Thompson will compete in her sophomore season in the SCISA ranks at Northside Christian and has ran with SC Wolfpack throughout the spring and summer months of travel ball.

Thompson is a familiar name to many aficionados of South Carolina high school girls basketball. What could be unfamiliar is the uniform she will wear as she will play in the SCISA ranks at Northside Christian. Thompson stands at 5-foot-9 and previously played at 5A White Knoll. Thompson can give a team worthwhile minutes as either a three forward or at the four and understands the art of drawing contact which an place her at the free throw line. Her AAU career includes a stint at Beechwood MS. Thompson joins a Crusaders team that concluded its 2025-26 campaign with a 16-15 record.

Thompson is a rising sophomore with 5A White Knoll. She is one of the standouts across the state among the 2029 class and looks to be a leader for the Timberwolves frontcourt over the next several seasons. Thompson can give a team worthwhile minutes either as a three forward or at the four. Thompson also displays how fearless she is by her willingness to draw contact and get to the free throw line. She also displays leadership skills not always found in many younger players. Prior to arriving on the scene at White Knoll, Thompson played her middle school ball at Beechwood MS.
