Phenom Lady Rumble: Youngsters

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops made the trip up to the Upstate and Rock Hill this past weekend. Prep Girls Hoops is always looking at the players of tomorrow. Well, we did just that with some Youngsters from the middle school ranks right here at the Phenom Lady Rumble. <strong><em>#RecruitThePalmettoState </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Class of 2027</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='376018' first='Harmony' last='Jefferson']</strong> won a Class 3A State Championship this past season at Camden HS. Harmony was all over the floor today with her play. She finished with both hands around the rim and was able to stay active in the passing lanes. Jefferson has great length and really plays the game well-being a slasher deluxe. Britt attends Kelly Mill M.S. in Blythewood. Britt can overpower defenders or post up down low. She brings good versatility to the floor with her ability to finish around the rim. She plays the game with a good deal of confidence already for her age. Livingston played this season at Irmo HS where she saw good minutes as an 8th grader. Williams a left-handed point guard looked to play aggressive and take charge on the floor for her York County Legends squad. Hobson averaged 9.6 ppg this past season for the Lady Demons at the varsity level. Hobson plays hard and really looks to compete while in the paint area. Hopper was able to score the ball off the dribble today. Nicknamed T.T. Hopper connected on few short jumpers. The team featured a few players from the 2028 class to keep an eye on in the years to come. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='553681' first='A'raina' last='Ross']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='637593' first='Taelor' last='Lee-Sutton'] </strong>both stood out from this class. Ross saw extensive minutes this season as a 7th grader for the Sumter HS Lady Gamecocks. Taelor did a nice job of touching the paint and finding the open teammate with a nice penetrate-kick. She was able to use her body to fight off defenders going to the basket. Taelor has a really good understanding of the game for her young age. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Class of 2029 </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='637592' first='London' last='Thompson'] caught our eye with her play for the IDreams 14U squad. Thompson attends White Knoll M.S. in Lexington. She surely played up few age groups here today. London seemed to play active while on the floor. She was able to finish a few buckets around the cup today. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
