Matriarch Classic 15U Notable Performances

Checkout a few more players that caught my attention with their notable performance.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Maddy Mannion | Wing | AR Shockers</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maddy had one of the most impressive freshman seasons this year in Arkansas. The versatile wing player can play inside and out, attack off the dribble, shoot the three, and push it in transition. She was slowed down a bit from a back issue, but she still showed her grit by being out there on the floor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lexie Hobbs | Guard | AR United</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lexie was impressive with her ball handling and how she could push the tempo in transition. She doesn't do anything flashy, just good ball control and the ability to change direction made her tough to defend off the dribble. When she got to the rim she often used her body well on her finishes. Good anticipator also on defense when in the passing lanes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Maliyah Banks | Guard | No Limit</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I've been a fan of Maliyah since I first saw her a little over a year ago. Her ability to run the team, create off the bounce, make plays for others and her IQ will make her a nice point guard next year when she enters high school. As she continues to develop she will definitely be a player known throughout the state.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>E'Niyah Dement | Guard | AR Lady Rebels</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I love going to local tournaments and learning about players I have never seen before. E'Niyah is a player that caught my attention because of how hard she played and her defensive presence. She's a good athlete that can get out in transition and finish at the rim and will play with a lot heart on both ends of the floor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1250846' first='Alexiah' last='Anderson'] | Guard | AR Lady Rebels</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alexiah is another player I got to see for the first time. Her athleticism and energy caught my attention, but it was aggressive mentality that was impressive. She constantly kept the defense on their heels with attacking nature on offense. Defensively she moved well and applied good pressure on the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
