She consistently applied pressure inside while also stretching defenses from the perimeter, forcing matchup decisions on every possession. Her ability to score through contact and convert in space gave Mead control in early league action and set the tone for how opponents must defend them moving forward.

Wells-Morrison has emerged as a dominant offensive presence for Mead, capable of impacting games from multiple areas on the floor. She scores efficiently inside using strength and touch, while also stepping out to knock down perimeter shots when defenses collapse. Her versatility makes her difficult to scheme against, and her consistent production has positioned her as one of Mead’s most reliable offensive weapons. Wells-Morrison’s ability to score both inside and out gives Mead a steady anchor in close contests.

Addison Wells-Morrison is a player who can play all over the court, being very versatile. She can run the offense to a high level or go down in the post, always working hard on the court. Her ability to drive the ball to get deep in the paint creates scoring opportunities for herself or for her teammates. She scores from all 3 levels and makes a big impact to her squad.

Standing at 6’0″, junior Addison Wells-Morrison is the epitome of versatility. Whether tasked with running the offense or powering through the post, Addison does it all. Her ability to drive the ball upcourt and create scoring opportunities—either for herself or for her teammates—makes her a dual threat. And when defenses drop off her perimeter coverage, her reliable three-point shooting is a guarantee to make a splash.

Addison does all the little things very well and always helps push her team towards the victory. Wells-Morrison knows how to utilize her length and long reach, disrupting pass lanes often with no problems. She is a phenomenal team leader and should once again be a main reason why Mead is one of the top teams in the state.

Addison is a smooth player with good length on the perimeter. She is effective with catch and shoot threes, can shoot it off the dribble, and has deep range. She looks smooth around the basket with her ability to finish, some of that comes from the length, more comes from being a skilled player in all phases of the game. She is a smart team defensive player which results in jumping passing lanes and getting the break started with the pressure defense Mead likes to play. Skill, length, versatility, great pedigree. She has all those things. She definitely excels as a great shooter from three. She was 2nd on the team in scoring last season at 12 a game. No Teryn Gardner next season, so Morrison will likely be the number one scoring option, although they still have a few. Mead is still a young team, one that lost to Garfield in the state 3A title game last season. They’ll be back in the mix in the 2025 season.
