Frederick chipped in six points but contributed nine rebounds and four assists. She managed the pace and made the extra pass when needed. Her ability to impact the game beyond scoring was evident.
Frederick’s impact showed up in pace control. She never looked rushed and consistently navigated defensive pressure to get Mead organized in the half court. Her ability to operate from the elbow and make the next read kept possessions from breaking down.
Reese is the ultimate adaptable wing, seamlessly adjusting her play to meet her team’s needs in any situation. Defensively, she shines with her elite ability to guard multiple positions, showcasing relentless effort on every possession. Reese dominates the boards with her strong rebounding presence, securing crucial possessions for her team. Offensively, she capitalizes on open opportunities, scoring efficiently when called upon to keep her team’s momentum going.
Frederick finished with six points and eight rebounds while playing nearly 31 minutes. Her scoring was limited, but her rebounding effort stood out given the physical disadvantage. She attempted to stabilize the offense during dry stretches, though overall team efficiency made it difficult to generate runs.
Frederick finished with 12 points, seven of them coming in the fourth quarter when momentum swung decisively toward Mead. She scored from all three levels and played with confidence as the Panthers pushed the pace. When the game finally opened up, she was one of the primary beneficiaries.
Frederick brings pace and awareness to Mead’s offense, functioning as a reliable secondary initiator. She handles the ball with confidence, keeps her head up in transition, and makes smart reads when defenses collapse. Frederick’s balance of ball security and creativity has helped Mead maintain offensive rhythm, especially in extended possessions.
Reese has great size on the court, standing at almost 6 feet tall. She can play on the perimeter too, being able to stretch the floor for her squad and knock down deep shots. She is excellent with her left hand, being able to finish through contact and get down-hill smoothly. Defensively she can move her feet quickly and be able to get her hands in the passing lanes with her long length.

plays with the kind of confidence and toughness that instantly brings Hailey Van Lith to mind. The fact that she’s a left-handed guard made this one way too easy! Reese pressures the ball baseline to baseline, is relentless on defense and fearless attacking the rim. She lives at the free throw line, regularly drawing contact and converting through it, while also proving to be a knockdown shooter when her teammates find her in rhythm. Like Van Lith, she plays with an edge, bringing fire and focus every possession, and is built for clutch moments.
Reese knows her role on her team and excels in it. She could see a rise in looks offensively, but she will be ready to make an impact with the opportunities she is given. Frederick plays elite defense, being able to guard the 1-5 on the court and do so a high level. She can knock down shots smoothly and also set screens to roll hard to the paint. She is a phenomenal gle player.
One of a few young players for a Mead team that finished 4th at state last season. She played a big role all season. She hit multiple threes in a lot of games. She has the physical tools and can defend and block shots with her length and athleticism. She is one who I could see making a jump to the top 10 before it’s all said and done.
