Shooting 35% from deep on the season, Kruse made her presence known early with a handful of three-pointers. Kruse was also cool under pressure against CPU’s press by going coast to coast for a turnaround jumper to beat the buzzer at the end of the first half. When the game was close in the fourth, Kruse showed effort on both sides of the ball — she stayed disciplined on her wall-ups in the paint, leading to two missed shots, then turned around on offense and finished a blow-by layup and two free-throws.

An athlete that is quick and shifty, is always producing for her teams in one way or anther. She can work on or off of the ball while understanding what she is good at and what the defense is bad at. Each game you can depend on Kruse to score a hand-full of points, grab some steals from her opponent, and lead her team whenever see’s something that needs to be pointed out throughout the longevity of the contest. The next question for her will be if she can take that next step, from being a good player, to a great player. With dedication, she can make it happen.
