Morgan Hulke Morgan Hulke 5'8" | SF New Ulm | 2025 State MN
In a fun matchup between Hulke’s Minnesota Rise 2025 group against the Purple Aces 16U group, Hulke’s shooting made all the difference in the first half. She ripped about five three-pointers in the first half and had all the confidence in the world, with good reason. She didn’t put a foot wrong in the half, and I thought she did a solid job playing smart in the second half and making the right play as defenders closed her out more aggressively.
Rebbeca Sturz
The Fall Creek guard had a solid showing out in Minnesota due to her effort on the defensive end. Most of the time, the 5-5 Sturz will give up some height on the defensive end, but she got her nose on the ball a few times because of how much pressure she put on ball handlers. Watching her battle on the defensive end was a joy to behold, and she showed some toughness around the basket, finishing through contact and finding a way to put the ball in the basket when she had to.
Aubryn Clark
This summer, I’ve become aware of who the rising Rhinelander freshman is. Clark will be one of the most under-control lead guards in Wisconsin girls’ high school basketball next season. She’s been so good at initiating the offense, creating an environment for her teammates to succeed, and looked to score more as the season went on. I would not be shocked to see her take the Great Northern Conference by storm next season. I firmly believe that Clark’s ability as a lead guard will instantly improve any offense she plays in. I know most people won’t be able to see her much this season, but I’d expect them to improve on their 11-15 record from last season.
Maddy Blaylark Maddy Blaylark 5'7" | CG DeLaSalle | 2026 State MN
I loved watching Blaylark attack the rim in transition. She has the change of direction to get by defenders, the power to go through them, and the skill to finish with either hand. If she attacks a recovering defense or a defender whose first step is backward, Blaylark will find a way to make them pay and help her team put points on the board.
