<p>Continuing the evaluations from the 10 teams that competed at the Illinois Freshman Showcase, Team 2 was guard heavy which made for some quick, fast-paced games. The following players were able to showcase their wide range of talents for the scouts, coaches and parents in the building. </p>

<p>Josslyn James #182 was chosen as all 2nd Team All Tournament. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='743626' first='Molly' last='Moore'] #104 (5'4" Nazareth Academy) scrappy guard with speed to match. Footwork helps her keep up with the quickest guards. Can cover a large area with those two in tandem. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='626814' first='Ava' last='Mersinger'] #108 (5'4" Benet Academy) is a great ball handler and facilitator. She is on attack with every possession. For her size, she doesn't shy away from the physicality of the game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='743602' first='Grace' last='Todd'] #109 (5'5" William Fremd) can attack off the dribble in the half-court and fires it up from three if given any space. IQ is way above her age level. Great shot selection and can read the court from any angle.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='743616' first='Mackenzie' last='Roesner'] #121 (5'8" Lincoln Way West) is someone to keep your eyes on. She makes plays on both ends of the floor. Good in transition and a reliable shooter.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='743614' first='Lily' last='Hubbuch'] #150 (5'8" Glen bard West) is a pesky defender. Plays great help defense and can make athletic plays. She can get to the rim or shoot from the outside.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='743630' first='Olivia' last='Perry'] #155 (5'9" Oak Lawn) uses her wingspan as a detriment to her opponents. Her length will be an asset as her reach far exceeded any of her opponents. Blocks and rebounds were abundant.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='743636' first='Sophie' last='Panaitescu'] #179 (5'3" Carmel Catholic) is a spitfire. Drives to the basket with a purpose. Her vertical was measurable as she was pulling down rebounds and boxing out girls with 5-6 inches on her.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='743638' first='Zariah' last='Clark'] (5'3" Chicago Hope) is an assertive guard who attacks the defense. Creates and finishes well through contact and shoots with tenacity.</p>
