In the summer, she also plays for Midwest Basketball Club and can display a very solid game with her athletic frame. She really gets after it on the defensive end with good length and a wingspan that allows her to defend the paint and passing lanes well. She is very strong on the boards and is a player who may just peak at the next level. Talk about a game changer, Angie got to see her at a camp this summer and told me she loves her game. First of all she can do a lot of damage from the perimeter and plays with a good basketball court sense. She has a good IQ of the game and is focused on staying in the moment and helping her team in anyway possible. She has all the tools to be a big factor for the Elks on both ends of the court. Long and active, Emily can drain the three or put the ball on the floor and make a play. Solid defender, active on the boards and good hands. Smart and heady player. She is a strong physical kid who is a force at the rim with strong hands and good body control. Rim protector and good footwork. She has very good range and is nearly a double-double ready to happen. Harper is a smart, heady player who is productive on both ends of the floor. Also does a nice job on the boards.
