This article will only talk about six players who we think will have impact seasons upcoming or those who will continue their consistency from the years previous. This is just part one, with plenty more content ahead.
Ava Fajardo Ava Fajardo 5'4" | PG Blair | 2026 State NJ – Gill St. Bernard’s (2026)
Fajardo has truly gone international, playing a massive role for the Philippines women’s national team in FIBA U16 competition. She’s one of several New Jersey players with ties to international clubs and playing for them in FIBA events. On the high school level, her freshman season was modest for GSB, averaging 5.2 PPG, 2.4 RPG and 1.9 SPG in 25 games played, but with a season under her belt, she’s going to have a much bigger role as a sophomore and should be very productive overall.
Tiffany Pecorella Tiffany Pecorella 5'7" | SG Franklin | 2024 State NJ – Franklin (2024)
Pecorella has been overshadowed on Franklin by a number of players, including her sister, Alyssa. The two knocked down more than half of the team’s three-pointers on the season, with Tiffany leading the team with 26. However, she’s the best returning three-point shooter by what is now a wide margin as her sister graduated in the spring, meaning this is year for her to go off from three and elevate her game overall.
Kadie Fleming Kadie Fleming 6'0" | SF South Hunterdon | 2025 State NJ – South Hunterdon (2025)
The rising junior has solidified herself as one of the best forwards in the Skyland after a strong performance as a sophomore, averaging over 10.0 PPG, 7.6 RPG and more than two blocks a game. SH had a senior-heavy squad last season, leaving Fleming and Sophie Hinman Sophie Hinman SG South Hunterdon | 2025 State NJ as the two impact players for this season. That means a jump in maturity, a bigger leadership role, and undoubtedly better numbers across the board.
Sophia Georgiades Sophia Georgiades 5'7" | PG Ridge | 2026 State NJ – Ridge (2026)
We head back the 2026 class with Georgiades, an interesting prospect expected to have an increased role and possibly even more of a breakout season than as a freshman. Her intro to high school basketball went well, nearly posting double-digit scoring averages while being one of the best perimeter defenders in the conference with just under three steals a game. Experience breeds confidence, and she’s going to relish that opportunity in a big way.
Gisel Calulo Gisel Calulo 5'3" | SG Pingry | 2026 NJ – Pingry (2026)
Looking at rising sophomores in this conference is like looking through a booklet of future success stories in the making. Calulo fits in the three & D category well, a great spot-up shooter with strong defensive tendencies on the other side of the ball. She made her presence felt from three, hitting 29 in 27 games, and we could potentially see that output double as a sophomore.
Lindsey Ditmar Lindsey Ditmar CG Delaware Valley | 2025 NJ – Delaware Valley (2025)
We end this article going over to the Mountain Division and Delaware Valley for Ditmar, a rising junior with great three-point success. Roughly 84.5 percent of her scoring came from beyond the arc, hitting 29 in 26 games. She shoots the three well, and we think she can shoot it even more in bulk as teammates Elana Falkenstein Elana Falkenstein CG Delaware Valley | 2025 State NJ and Maggie Simpson Maggie Simpson 5'5" | SF Delaware Valley | 2026 State NJ are going to spread the floor to get her open. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention her passing skills, averaging just under 3 APG last season.
