On a team that isn’t the tallest on the floor, one of their best rebounders and scoring threats near the basket comes to us in the form of Allie Kaup Allie Kaup 5'9" | SF West Point-Beemer | 2025 NE . Kaup has an act for being a relentless rebounder on both sides of the floor and she doesn’t stop on a play until she hears a whistle. Sometimes there are players out there that understand where a miss shot is going to go and they are great at jumping to the basketball, this is one of those players in my book. Other than being a great rebounder, Kaup is an accurate free throw shooter and someone that isn’t afraid of contact near the rim. She may be a guard but she plays with a lot of size and length, usually giving her an advantage against her personal matchup in one way or another each contest. She is coming off of a successful high school season and using that momentum this Spring/Summer, something that is obvious to anyone who has been watching so far.

Allie Kaup Allie Kaup 5'9" | SF West Point-Beemer | 2025 NE is a player that has potential on the basketball court. Kaup is 5’10 and athletic. She is also coordinated, fundamental in her movements, and determined whenever she is attacking her opponent. She has demonstrated the ability to catch at the perimeter and score at the rim after driving either way or she can create for others if things open up. In her most recent contest, Kaup’s West Point-Beemer team came away with the victory and she registered 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in her efforts. A nice stat line considering two others on her team were at the 9 point mark and their group only finished with 48 total points in the contest. I’ll be paying close attention to Kaup’s season the rest of this year. From what I’ve seen, she is a player that I think could compete at the collegiate level. It would have to be the right fit but it’s something I’m confident in. With her size and skill, she could produce somewhere after she graduates high school.
