Meredith Walton 2029
TX

The second game kept the heat going as I had seen many of these players before so my objective for them was to see their progression and to say I was pleased would be an understatement

Sofia Bowie (2028) is an athletic guard who brought heat on both ends, there plenty and she never let up, especially on the defensive end. She attacked the basket strongly from multiple angles, and she finished after contact but she also did a good job of creating her shot in the set and dropping the pull-up jumper. Her "catch and shoot" while being defended needs to be acknowledged as well

[player_tooltip player_id='967019' first='Meredith' last='Walton'] (2029) saw the floor in the set, saw it handling the ball in transition, and saw it from the other end yet her handling the ball and seeing the floor under pressure are huge at this stage. She also showed her deceptive first step to attack the basket, slight HEZ was also implemented and she created her shot and dropped it while being defended

Madison Madkins (2029) played on the ball defense baseline to baseline off the top and her pressure never let up as it helped to create turnovers. She also showed good timing to block shots, even read the floor, and played the passing lane. She attacks the rim relentlessly and shows she can finish strongly after contact but she also doesn't mind grabbing rebounds and getting the break going, court vision is also nice

Angelina Medlock (2029) is another athletic guard who just brought it on both ends and she patiently sets the defender up to blow by them. Her frame enables her to take the lick while attacking, yes she finishes at times effortlessly after contact, yet her body control needs to be mentioned as it helped. Her spin move had me dizzy at times, it's fluid and she uses it instinctively but her threading the needle in traffic was nice, and so was her dropping it at the BUZZA. She plays the passing lane and has some impressive upside

Mimi Rivera (2029) is BACK and that made me happy as I hadn't seen her in a minute or two but watching her dive for loose balls on the floor gets the #THROWBACK hashtag. She plays "on the ball" defense in the set as well as baseline-to-baseline, she scored off the dribble using not only the HEZ but some fakes but watching her drop the pull-up jumper while being defended, from DEEEEEP was very nice, so was her using the "catch and shoot"

Jordin Lee (2030) shows me something different every time I see her and I'm dropping the #D1Lock now because of her mix of things that impress me. I love how she reacts and does things instinctively, against OLDER TALENTED PLAYERS which is why I can make statements like that, I just know. I also know she has plenty of potential and how she goes depends on her. She has quick hands and came away with steals, her "on the ball" defense was smothering at times. Her first step created problems as she got to the basket effortlessly yet she went after rebounds and saw the floor in transition plus her crossover ain't nothing to play with

Ariana Medlock (2030) see evaluation from Game 1

Kyndal Lyn (2030) evaluation from Game 1

The second game kept the heat going as I had seen many of these players before so my objective for them was to see their progression and to say I was pleased would be an understatement
