One of the first hashtags I ever used involving girls' basketball was #talentiseverywhere because it is, if you know what you're looking at, and seeing the up-and-coming players in attendance left me smiling

[player_tooltip player_id='1135864' first='Pyper' last='Trancucci'] (2028) is long and athletic which is what I call the base and it's one of the profiles I love to evaluate, more importantly, so do many college coaches and they offer next-level opportunities. Her intangibles start with "on the ball" defense as she played defense quite well in the set as well as baseline to baseline but she does something I absolutely love to see and that's "playing the passing lane". She saw the floor and did a good job scoring off the dribble

[player_tooltip player_id='1308142' first='Julia' last='Kern'] (2028) heady guard who did a good job of scoring in the flow. She created her shot under pressure but her shot selection was good, in fact, she kept it simple which falls into "playing within herself". Her pull-up was nice, and so was her court vision both off the dribble as well as in the set. Her defense was solid and so is her upside

Chloe Vessel (2028) is an athletic guard who uses her athleticism well on both ends and let me start with her full-court pressure on defense which helped to create turnovers. She also created turnovers reading the court and I can't emphasize how important playing the passing lane is. She set the defender up nicely to attack the basket and showed a spin move going full speed yet her body control on her finishes was also nice, and so was her pull-up jumper

Jordan Lewis (2028) showed nice court vision under pressure, both in the set as well as in transition, and seeing her hit teammates after playing the passing lane and coming away with steals had me smiling. She also did a good job of attacking the basket, her nice first step played a part in that but her body control helped her finish off balance. She also dropped the jumper while being defended

[player_tooltip player_id='757924' first='Olivia' last='McKinnon'] (2028) is "long and athletic" remember, that is the base yet she's also tall and close to "the magic number" which is 6'0, and those two right there will have her on quite a few next-level shot lists based on her intangibles. She showed good timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots, she also "played the passing lane" but she also handled the ball after the steal and did a good job attacking the basket in the set

Airyanna Robertson (2028) gave me a great second look, third if you count the initial one was via video yet LIVE always is the best way for me because I'm another SC that sees everything. Her ability to find ways to be relevant are things you can't teach, I know she can score off the dribble as well as from outside but her defense as well as what she does away from the ball speaks volumes because she thinks the game

[player_tooltip player_id='839227' first='Shiloh' last='Grays'] (2027) is long and athletic and at the magic number so I've already explained what that means but let me say this one more time. Her older sister told me last season she was going to be a #D1Lock and she was right and as Rylee is ready for her freshman season at North Carolina, Shiloh is on her way starting with her explosiveness off the dribble. She has good body control and finishes strongly after contact yet watching her go after rebounds and loose balls the way she does is exciting because she does it instinctively. She comes from out of nowhere to block shots and even handled the ball coast to coast to score

Gisselle Jackson (2027) left a lasting first impression as she brought heat on both ends of the court. She has quick hands and that helped her come up with steals, she has a very nice first step in the set to attack the basket yet she also showed a burst in transition with the ball to go by defenders. Nice body control on her finishes, she also saw the floor in the open court as well as the halfcourt
