They also added Brooklynn Haywood Brooklynn Haywood 5'9" | PG Union | 2026 State WA , the #1ranked 2026 player by Prep Girls Hoops WA. In an earlier article, I wrote about Haywood attending Elite Prep. It turns out, playing one game at a prep school makes kids ineligible for the next two years of high school basketball. Brooklynn made the decision to come back to play at Camas. Not wanting to risk that. Camas is also one of the few school districts in the area who offer NCAA home school eligible academic programs.
Camas was a fun group to watch last season. They will be an even more entertaining group this year.

, who shared that honor with Haywood who was at Union last season. There are also six more players, four of which are ranked in the top 27 by Prep Girls Hoops WA in their respective classes. They lost only one game to a team in the state of Washington last year. That loss was in the 4A state title game to Eastlake. A fun team to watch, now becomes a must see group for high school basketball fans. Here are the key returners and new addition. I foresee some games breaking the century mark on the scoreboard in 2024.

Top returning players –
Addison Harris Addison Harris 6'1" | PF Camas | 2024 State WA – #3 (2024) ranked player. The Co-MVP averaged 18 points per game last season and is a great athlete with length who can get to the basket on the dribble drive and finish with the best of them.
Brooklynn Haywood Brooklynn Haywood 5'9" | PG Union | 2026 State WA – #1 (2026) Also ranked #24 in the class of 2026 by ESPN. Brooklynn should fit right in here with her ability to get others involved as well as being the best at creating her own in the state of Washington. In my opinion. She can do it all.
Keirra Thompson Keirra Thompson 5'6" | PG Camas | 2025 State WA – #8 (2025) Became a fan favorite with her highlight reel passing and point guard play last season.
Riley Sanz Riley Sanz 5'8" | CG Camas | 2024 State WA – #27 (2024) A clutch player who hit some big shots last season. She is a great shooter and scorer. From all levels.
Sophie Buzzard Sophie Buzzard 5'9" | SG Camas | 2025 State WA – #23 (2025) Another elite level shooter that should get lots of looks with the defense having more than a few great scorers to focus on. She can be one of those with her shooting skills.
Reagan Jamison Reagan Jamison 6'1" | SF Camas | 2024 State WA – #13 (2024) Provides lots of length and the skills to go with it. She led the state tournament in scoring and rebounding two years ago.
Kendall Mairs Kendall Mairs 6'0" | CG Camas | 2025 State WA #11 (2025) A great athlete who became the defensive stopper last season. She can score the ball but played her role and played it well.
Parker Mairs Parker Mairs 5'8" | SG Camas | 2024 State WA – #70 (2024) A solid player who can no doubt out play her ranking.
