Every game on the day came down to the wire and these young ladies came out to compete from start to finish. Through all the talent I saw on the day, here are my playmakers.
Fields is a natural athlete that takes over the game with her ability to rebound and score in the paint. She knows how to finish and it’s tough to keep her off the glass. She is always creating extra chance opportunities in the paint. Would stood out most is her ability to bring the ball down the floor and her court vision. Her scoring ability is what makes her a playmaker.
Nimo is a game changer with all the intangibles to be the best player on the floor. Her ability to slice through the defense and get downhill is what stood out most. Great ball handling skills which allow her to put pressure on the defense to keep her out the paint. Can score at all 3 levels.
Highlights
Conkell is a workhorse that is always working to get her shot off. A player that runs the floor well and is always looking to be in scoring mode. Her ability to see the floor allows her to create scoring opportunities. A player that is always in the right place and loves to push transition.
Cornish is a slasher that knows how to weave through the defense. A pure shooter that can score from anywhere on the court. When the defense took away the drive, she showed her ability to consistently knock down the 3 ball. A player that uses her speed to her advantage and is not afraid to get up and defend.

Rudolph is a high IQ guard that can do it all. Her dribble drive and kick is what got her team going. Has the ability to get downhill and put pressure on the defense. A player that can score at will in the paint but has the ability to score on the perimeter. She made some unbelievable passes on Sunday.

Spiers was one of the most athletic players I have seen in a while. Her frame allows her to play inside and out. Her ability to out jump everyone is what helps for her scoring in the paint. A player that’s always looking to be in attack mode and when the game is on the line, she can deliver a bucket. An exciting player to watch.
