In this article, we hilight those who were at the First Coast Media Day event and we look at the impact they will have on their respective teams and how that ultimately affects their teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='248291' first='Kennedy' last='Rosendahl'] stopped by our table and was full of confidence and ready for the season to kickoff. Rosendahl will bring the versatility and that three point shot to the dance this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='349375' first='Morgan' last='Gavazzi'] (pictured right) was ready for the season to start and get the show on the road. Gavazzi was intense and may have had a basketball in her backpack.

[player_tooltip player_id='349280' first='Maya' last='Richards'] (pictured middle) was taking it all in and the senior is ready to get to work. Richards is the ultimate do all player for the Sharks.

These three players are the reason I have selected Ponte Vedra as the team to beat in St Johns County. They have had a lot of success as a team and this year they are looking to go deeper into the high school playoffs. They also have 5 to 6 more seniors on the roster who have been through the tough games and other team experiences.

[player_tooltip player_id='248290' first='Shruthika' last='Kondabrolu'] has been under the radar and and this could be the year you will know her name. She has a some attitude on defense and can score the ball in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='796840' first='Maci' last='Robinson'] is Cami Robinson's sister younger sister and this year she will be shedding that title and blazing a trail of her own. Robinson has been under the radar, but she has game and a high basketball IQ.

Pedro Menendez

[player_tooltip player_id='730160' first='Kali' last='Harris'] (pictured right) dropped by to see us and was quiet and confident. Harris is athletic and is a player to know this upcoming season. Harris can get to the rim and score, and she is a menace on the defensive end. Her play over the summer and the play of her teammates has created a lot of excitement over this Menendez team. They have definitely made a believer out of me. You can't teach speed and athleticism, and they have plenty of it.

[player_tooltip player_id='796902' first='Jaiden' last='Smith'] (pictured left) accompanied Harris to Media Day and is a very good and aggressive defender.
The play of Harris, Smith, and teammates over the summer have a lot of people talking about this year's Menendez team.

Bartram Trail

Senior Twins, [player_tooltip player_id='796899' first='Victoria' last='Panico'] and [player_tooltip player_id='796900' first='Sophia' last='Panico'] were present at Media Day and will look to keep Bartram in the mix. Victoria averaged 14 points as a Sophomore and will look to regain that scoring form in her Senior campaign. Sophia has nearly 50 games of experience.
