Simmie Colson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Hearst falls into that “will be a better player in college group” and seeing her elevate her game from I guess the 7th grade until the last time I saw her back in July see evaluations here so factor in she’s “long and athletic” and stands ay above “the magic number” but her athleticism has leaned towards ultra status as she comes from out of nowhere to rebound and block shots plus her interior defense as well as being able to guard baseline to baseline will cause problems in college

Hearst has that combination of being “long and athletic” as well as above “the magic number” which automatically attracts next-level coaches, and chatting with her dad, she has over 20 D1 offers. I go back in time to see her “on the court progression” see evaluations here, and she has become a terror on both ends. I love her timing to block shots and handling the ball afterward to go coast to coast and score. She does the same thing playing the passing lane, but her “hands and footwork” to finish with either hand dropped the mic. Her defense is solid as she can guard in the paint as well as baseline to baseline

#47 up from #67 Hearst gave me my biannual look, hadn’t seen her in a couple of seasons, as well as a couple of seasons before then, yet one thing I love is observing players who have been putting in the work. She stands above “the magic number” is “long and athletic” and sent messages at Queen Of The South see evaluation here

Hearst stands above the magic number and is long and athletic, which is exactly what I saw pre-high school, so watching her improve and become a legitimate force inside the paint has been nice. She showed a variety of moves around the basket, including a spin to score, she rebounded, and played solid defense

Hurst caught my eye a few years ago yet I lost track of her and 6’3, I knew she would resurface because of the potential she showed . Her timing was already there to block, alter and (or) deflect shots, so was her being “long and athletic” which will always be the base. I think watching her go after everything off the rim spoke volumes, so did her finishing around the basket

Hurst caught my eye over a year ago and if you comprehend what I say and have said for, well, ever, non-erroneous rosters are important because she should have already been on here. It was great to see her at The Opening, I love her upside to go along with standing above “the magic number” as well as being “long and athletic” but her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots as well as rebound on both ends have gotten better, so has her scoring around the basket
